After looking at my diet and my nutrient deficiencies I realized I needed a variety of different vitamins/minerals. I discovered cal-mag and realized it combined everything I needed in one supplement without the need to buy a bunch. That makes it very much a convenient money saver.

For about the past year I have been switching my supplements to powders because generally they are cheaper than capsules and there are absolutely no additives. This is one of the few gel caps that I still take because it is an excellent product. I like the fact that more than one source of calcium is used, more than one source of magnesium is used, and in addition to the proper blend of these two minerals there is also a good selection of trace minerals and vitamin d. Considering that many of these minerals are chelated, the product has an excellent price and although the pills are a little large they are very easy to swallow. I mix my supplement powders into a glass of water and add several tablespoons of powdered carob to disguise any adverse taste as well as several tablespoons of lactose powder for sweetening. I greatly appreciate the fact that Now Foods has so many pure powders to choose from.

Have bought these for years from another source website. They closed and Fruitful yield took its place. Shipping took a bit longer than prev site, that’s why I gave a 4 star. Otherwise glad they have this item in stock. I will miss auto ship too!
They say that one serve is 2 capsules, but I only take 1. Higher doses of calcium are not a great idea according to studies investigating calcium supplementation and mortality.
Useful combination of 2 elements. Should be able to supply the good combination and proportion of 2 active elements together - Calcium and Magnesium.
This supplement containing elemental calcium 500mg- benefit for better bone health, especially for old age. Other ingredient including vitamin such as D3 & K2 for better absorption. Though unable to verify about the product quality, but it seems to be helpful. Product is well package & sealed. In capsules form - easy for consumption. However, discover that each capsule is not fully filled, wonder it is supposed to be this way.
