As a beginner sprouting enthusiast I quickly learned that obtaining a good batch is not that easy. But after starting using citric acid everything improved. The size is good for testing if you like the product. The quality is good as most of the time with Now Foods.

i use this to make sour candies:)mix it with some monkfruit/erythriose, or allulose to create sour coating.it can "melt" the candy.so i i just put my blend of citric acid+sugar substitute on the candy right before eating.very nice:)and can custimze the sour level.also use it some very few recipies.
Bought this with the intention as a Sprouting Aid for Broccoli Sprout. It works as it is. It is a natural food grade acid that I used it as a natural preservative for handmade edible stuffs. Also used it for canning, drying or freezing of foods. I also used it as a DIY cleaning solution for example to clean the insides of the stainless steel boiler or kettle and other cleaning purposes. At times I used it as a hair rinse. It is so versatile to have this at home. Highly-recommended.
I hoped this would improve my mediocre sprouting. I had gotten a couple great batches, then some that only partially sprouted. With the citric acid, I have had two batches that didn't sprout almost at all and after 4 days I threw them out completely. So this product made my results worse, even though the weather has improved lately and is much less hot and humid. This is with broccoli sprouts fwiw.

I got this to use it with growing my microgreens but I use it in many ways around the house in cleaning mainly. Good product, the size is enough for few months as I need to use small teaspoon everytime. Can be used to rinse the seeds when groing microgreens to avoid mold forming. I know it's used in food also but never tried this before.
