I have been advised to take this product by a nutritional therapist as it it can help with certain symptoms of an overactive thyroid. It certainly has helped me. This large size of tablets is economical and that is taking into account that I live in England and have to pay an extra tax. I am very pleased with my purchase and will continue to buy this product.

It works! I am somewhat of a skeptic, but just before my 5K runs, I have used L-Carnitine to shuttle the not-so-instantaneously digestible fatty acid foods, like walnuts and ground flaxseed, into my liver for energy production during my runs. You need a plentiful supply of this amino acid because it’s the “shuttle” that carries fatty acids to your mitochondria, to power them up, making massive amounts of youthful energy. I am a believer, I am the proof this supplement works. Previously, I would run out of gas before completing my run and would be almost dying trying to finish. Not anymore. L-Carnitine is a blessing, because as you age, you produce less of it, and need to supplement. I use L-Carnitine Tartrate, not Acetyl L-Carnitine.

Brain, Heart, Blood Sugar

I give this to my better half to improve his memory, help his heart and help his blood sugar. He says it gives him energy. He takes it with breakfast so that it does not impact sleeping at night. He gets a lot of things done in the morning but then wants to take a nap in the afternoon. Not sure about giving him more at lunch time to keep him going as it might keep him up at night. He takes this in combination with another supplement. His memory has improved but hopefully will improve even more.

Gives boost in energy

Now Foods Carnitine 500 Mg 180 Vegetable Capsules is a pretty good product. I get more energy when taking this product. It is said to transfer fatty acid into the mitochondrial membrane for cellular energy production which is good. I take a few pills every morning before breakfast. Overall a pretty good product. Worth the try.

L-Carnitine 500 mg

I was surprised to see that L-Carnitine 500 mg makes me sleepy .My wife experienced the same. In addition, anxiety comes down.I have seen positive results for weight loss ...I dont mind L-Carnitine doing all the good things while I sleep.

I started taking these products with the Kelp and L carnitine.before going on this diet, I was weighing 216... I weigh 200 now and sometimes it goes to 199 back and forward. That would have been last week when I weigh myself. I also excise and I go 2 to 3 days give or take. You can just do walking if you can't exercise.I will continue to take until I am 10 pounds smaller.I must tell you I don't eat Red meats.
