This is my first time to buy this brand and I am disappointed. I usually purchase walnuts from another source but when I saw the price for these, I ordered. I had to discard a lot of walnuts due to them being dried and black. The overall taste of the others were ok but very inferior to the brand I usually buy. To keep nuts from going bad, I always store them in glass jars in the freezer. If I hadn't already opened the bags to prepare them for freezing, I would have returned this product.

Great taste. Has the slight bitter taste walnuts are known for, plus a creamy nutty flavor. I chose this brand because it was organic, raw and had no additional ingredients. It was also quite a bit cheaper than a brand I used to buy elsewhere for a similar size package. One bag lasts me 2 weeks for the amount I eat daily for a snack. I like that this snack give me protein and I don't feel guilty snacking on them. Iherb ships these quickly and they do NOT arrive in unusable crushed pieces, which I love.

I grew up cracking my own walnuts & stuffing my face like a squirrel. I love walnuts. This brand walnut isn't for me though. Shelled taste a lot fresher to me.... which is kinda weird considering I believe all nuts are old... like store potatoes. Some were dry. Many have different flavors. It's a very odd batch. There were some that tasted great which made it all the more disappointing when one of the pieces tasted completely different or just plain terrible. I notice if I mix it with cake it's not terrible.... bc I can't really taste the nut as much. I don't like to waste so I'll try eating these in cereal or granola to help mask the weird changing taste.
These walnuts are great for adding to salads or putting in honey. Walnuts have omega 3 fatty acids for brain health and I feel smarter when I eat them. I had a salad with walnuts, cranberries and romaine lettuce and salad dressing and it was very delicious. Sometimes I put walnuts in vanilla ice ream. I am really grateful that the price is better than the grocery store price. The grocery store I go to doesn't seem to have organic certified walnuts and these are organic certified and priced very well I suppose one could put these in their cereal.

Nothing worse than buying stale organic walnuts at the grocery store or just even plain walnuts that aren't even organic. The bag states they are fresh and wholesome no added oils. Keto friendly.
