First, understand that the D2 that doctors prescribe is not absorbed adequately in our body. The recommended dosing as once weekly, or even one shot monthly, is rediculous. D3 is natural, you get some thru your skin being exposed to early morning or late evening sun. D3 strengthens our immune system. It assists vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and often stops inflammation in it's tracks. I suggest people read up from credible sources on the research proving D3 is life health changing. Quality products matter. This is a quality product.

I have taken this 50,000 unit every day for two months to get my levels up to normal. I definitely think I was deficient and we’ll go to the hospital soon to see what I Measure at. We were all kind of convinced and programmed that taking high vitamin D is dangerous and maybe it is for some but I would suggest that you should try it out and see how you feel. it is "Kosher - Contains Gelatin" certified, so for sure the soft gel capsule is bovine gelatin like they say but probably for Halal certification would not invest more money to get it on top of the Kosher one to rise the price of the product.("Halal certifications are provided by two major non-profit agencies in the United States, namely, Halal Monitoring Services (HMS), based out of Chicago, IL[25] and Halal Food Standards Alliance of America (HFSAA), based out of Oakland, CA").
