I've put runs big in size, that relates to me really, I bought slightly big on the waist and I didn't know really the cut of the jeans, I didn't want skinny for sure! I might have bought a tad slimmer in width if I could have tried them on first?I'm going to take the advice of not washing for 6 months though.
