I recently had an amazing experience with Nudie Jeans! Their customer service went above and beyond, and I’m truly impressed by the brand’s commitment to sustainability and environmental care. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nudie Jeans to anyone in search of high-quality denim and a company with strong values.I opted for the Lean Dean Dry Japan Selvedge in size 29/32, and they fit true to size. As expected with selvage/raw denim, they’ll need some breaking in before they reach their full potential. I’m eager to see how they evolve over time and will definitely be adding more pairs to my collection!

I bought them in the physical shop because i had some doubts regarding the size (knowing this cause i had few pairs of Nudie’s over the years). I am 1.73 and around 60 kg and i took size 29x30 (i usually wear 29x32 for slim fit and 30x32 for skinny from different well known jeans producers but size 32 from Nudie is too long). The fit is awesome, the material is very nice and good quality, i bought also a pair of Troubled Sea and the 16 dips are much thinner than the other pair i bought. I would suggest if you have a physical shop near to pay a visit because you have many options to try and you can be sure of the size you take. I am more than satisfied with the purchase and the overall experience.

Have a few lean deans and this is the first selvage. Feels tighter and crisper than usual but expected this. Been wearing daily for almost 2 weeks and can feel them changing daily and relaxing. Had read up about breaking them in so am really enjoying the whole experience. Looking forward to the journey of watching them change. So glad I bought them and tbh wished I’d bought selvage earlier . Will be selvage all the way from now on. Hoping to not stain them with something within first 6 months that might force an early wash!!

I bought my first Lean Dean jeans and loved the fit. I bought 4 other Lean Deans on different occasions and I had to return them all because non was consistent with my first purchase. I bought this black jeans which is also totally different from my first Lean Dean purchase but I decided to keep it because I got tired of returning and losing money for returning items that didn't fit.This black jeans fit was tolerable until I made the mistake to wash it. It has shrank so much that I can't even fit my thigh in it. It shrank from size 34 to about size 30.Note: I didn't even dry it all the way in the dryerI'm very disappointed
I'm a big Nudie fan and own a few, including a "Lean Dean Dry Deep Selvage". So I thought same cut, same size but different fabric. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered a 32/34 (same size as the other Lean Dean), the new pant is more like 32/32 (and no, I haven't washed the pants yet). Why? Should actually be exactly the same.Yes, a selvage stains, but here it is too much, actually I don't want to wash the pants, but I will have to do it now.
Fit- amazing. My favorite fit ever and I absolutely love that they let me get the inseam at 28 inches right out of the gates.Fabric- I was on the fence about the Japan selvage… worth it? YES. Beautiful color, great feel- not as ‘crunchy’ as some other raw selvage denims I’ve bought.Shipping- flawless and quickReturns- equally easy- I accidentally ordered the wrong size- easy fix.Sizing- on the money. Consistent waist sizing with other favorite brands.I’ll be wearing these to my grave.
Great quality denim, but I was very disappointed when they finally arrived. The jeans are at least 3 times baggier than the pictures show on the website. Also, I had to pay for return shipping, which for a product of this price, is very frustrating. I also ordered a belt, and it was way too small. I am a size 37 waste, and the largest belt available couldn't even go through the first hole.I love the quality, history, and story behind this brand, but for this price point things need to sharpen up!
I think this should be my 7th or 8th pair of Nudie Jeans. I absolutely love them, and since I bought the first one, I've never bought any other jeans.I have several Lean Dean model ones, and I think this one kind of runs a bit larger...but I also have 2 pairs on 34, and one is really thight, and the other fits well. This time I bought a 36, as I recently got a couple of extra kilos :), but it runs a lit bit large (I haven't washed them yet, so maybe they shrink a bit after the washing!).Another comment is, they are a little bit darker than they appear in the photos...but they are beautiful anyway!Apart from that, fantastic product with superb quality!
Make sure you know you know what size you are in nudie jeans before ordering online. My fiancée is a size 32x32 in all his jeans except in nudie 32x32 it’s too big. I thought I would return it to a store they only have 2 store locations one in NY and another LA, I don’t live by any of these locations. You can’t exchange jean online, you have to return them online (which they charge $17). it is such a hassle buying clothes here. I brought these jeans for Christmas gift in mid December, return policy states 14 days if you aren’t a member and 30 days if your a member, so think twice about buying these as a Christmas gifts because again their return policy because time is of essence.
These jeans are great! Love the cut, love the correct sizing.I only don’t know whether the website description with the tapered leg is correct. I had ordered also a pair of Grim Tim in my usual size 36/36, and when putting both jeans flat on top of each other, the leg was virtually identical aside of the fact that the Lean Dean is about one centimeter narrower than the Grim Tim. There is no taper though. When worn, the difference in leg width is barely noticeable.
