Easy to set up, Easy to blow up, everything else is in the directions. You need to puncture with the straw deep enough that air isn't pushing back at you. There's often a white tag just inside the blow slip where you insert the straw before the white lining and after the entrance.

This was a horrible experience! I ordered these balloons for my husbands 60th birthday party as well as a bouquet of balloons for the room. When I arrived to pick them up the number balloons were not inflated and I was told to use the attached straw to blow them up. The was no string to attach the balloons to anything! Just a mess! To add insult to injury the bouquet I ordered wa not sent over and therefore not ready! I will never order from you online again!

While the balloon was great, the website was the issue. You can order the balloon online for pick up at the store. Online it gives you the option to fill it up with 'helium for free'. Got to the store and they said no it cannot be done & website was wrong. WAS SO NOT HAPPY as I had to re-examine my plans for my daughter's 13th birthday.

Arrived on time and the price was within budget. Had everything delivered to Milfor Ohio since we will be celebrating there. Very beautiful in person. The color was perfect and my daughter loved it. A great way to add a personal touch for your child turning 13. Thanks Party City. You always deliver nothing but smiles!
These were not what I had thought. Way smaller than the ones I had planned on getting. They did not fill these with air, so when my husband picked up the order they did not give him the number balloons so he had to go back to the store. They should have had the order all together ready for pick up.
The directions show a drawing of straw being inserted into balloon to indicate where to fill (with your own air) but there's no detail about the supposed self-sealing. I improvised but it can't figure how to keep entirely filled, so defeats the purpose of a balloon. Manufacturer needs better instructions.
I shopped for these online and had someone pick them up while I was driving to the venue. I bought all of these because it says they are "air-filled." When I arrived at the venue, I found out that they were not air-filled. You have to air them up. I had no time for this so I couldn't use these. So disappointed.
I never have a good experience at party city. Never any help. Everyone has an attitude.The balloon was for my son's birthday party. It was not inflated. I had to inflate it myself and it broke within an hour because of how cheaply made it was.
At first I was skeptical that these balloons could fill and look like the numbers on the package. They were super easy and convenient. Each balloon comes with a straw that you insert and blow it up yourself. The balloon is self sealing which actually works. I had blown the balloon up to super full thinking that some air would escape when I removed the straw but only a minimal amount of air escaped. You simply pinch above the straw and the balloon is sealed and looks exactly like the photo. There are tabs top and bottom of each number that can be used to hang the balloons. They are not helium balloons so they can't be filled to float.
I'm upgrading my earlier review after speaking with a helpful customer service rep at the balloon company. They need better instructions with this product. If you need to know how to make the self-sealing work so it stays inflated, stick the straw into the little sleeve only part way and fill the balloon. When it's full, pinch the foil around the straw without pinching the straw itself and remove straw, pinching all around it so the air doesn't escape.
