I was a big fan of the V1 Air75 and decided to downsize to a Air60. The fact this supports Via both wired and wirelessly is wonderful! You will of course need to connect directly with a Usb cable to configure in VIA but then it maintains those updated keymaps and macros in both wired and wireless mode! You can toggle between mac and windows mode but the best part is Via has these as separate layers. In other words if you're not interested in mac mode you can use that same switch to entirely swap the layout around to a different default Via layer, like for dvorak or colemak. Dealing with ZMK for wireless keyboards for so long it's such a nice change of pace to go back to Via and still get my wireless cake and eat it too. Also highly recommend the Moss keys, really ... MoreI was a big fan of the V1 Air75 and decided to downsize to a Air60. I purchased the Air 60 V2 because, despite my best efforts, my Halo 65 did not travel well. This case is protective enough for me to feel confident carrying my keyboard in the tablet pouch of my rolltop backpack which is large enough for a 15.6" laptop. I would hesitate to subject it to a harsh environment due to how nice it is, but thankfully I don't have to. The materials feel quite nice to the touch. It appears to be made of some kind of faux leather and suede combination with a rigid skeleton of some high gauge sheet metal or some other rigid thing. I hesitate to tough the suede part because I don't want oils from my skin to discolor it over time, but it is fairly dark so that helps. The snap has "Nufolio" engraved on it which is very nice attention to detail. ... MoreI purchased the Air 60 V2 because, despite my best efforts, my Halo 65 did not travel well. The magnetization on the bottom panel is enough to hold the board in place while you fold it, without being overly difficult to separate.Personally, I wouldn't buy an Air series board without one of these. I think its a far better solution than the rigid cases i've seen for other keyboards that take up far more space.

I am coming from a Halo 65. I switched because the Halo 65 didn't travel well enough for my needs. I use my keyboard at work with a laptop, at home with my desktop PC, and also with my Samsung phone when it is in DEX mode. Having the ability to store multiple Bluetooth devices is crucial to me and it works seamlessly on this keyboard. I like the feel but I wish they were quieter. I may switch at some point.I love the lighting scheme, but I am a little but disappointed that White is not easy/impossible to achieve with the LEDs on this board. Not a big deal though. The QMK functionaliy is crucial for me. As a programmer, I like having the Home/End and PgDn/PgUp keys and I was able to add a layer activated by an ALT key that maps these to the arrow keys. This enables me to have all the necessary keys without using up extra space in my bag for a bigger board. Frankly, the aspect ratio of this board looks nicer to me than the Air 75. I don't do data entry, so the lack of a numberpad doesn't make a difference to me.As of now, I can't imagine wanting a keyboard that purports to be of a higher quality. This is enough for me and meets all expectations. Its a great deal, especially with the pre-order bundle that I got. If you travel with a keyboard, this one is exceedingly easy to pack in a laptop bag compared to a keyboard with full size keys that you would need to carry in a rigid case.
I own 2 ducky and multiple cheap 60% kbs, and this gives absolutely nothing up but is about 1/2 as thick (2/3s with nupholio v3), adds Bluetooth and yet-to-be-tested 2.4g wireless and VIA.In the nupholio, this is approximately the width, triple the depth, and half the height of an ultra portable/tablet/portable monitor 13in, this will fit perfectly in any tablet/laptop pocket of any of the bags I already own, unlike the non-ultrathin mkbs I own (too 'deep')The aesthetics are of course objective but nothing I disagree with.I put the brown v2s in for the arrow keys and spacebar - mostly for an additional tactile response of what key I'm hitting but the moss switches are perfect for me. TL;DR:The product offers premium quality. I’m completely satisfied with every aspect of this keyboard and would recommend it to anyone seeking a stylish, compact, and comfortable option.Review:I want to share my impressions because this is my first-time experience with a mechanical keyboard. After market research, I decided to pre-order this one due to its unique combination of factors:- Top quality (metal chassis, PBT plastic, soundproofing, no modding is required),- Compact 60% layout with arrows,- High-end specs (guaranteed low latency and quick wake up, variety of connectivity options, good battery, tuned switches),- Well-thought-out design.I like keyboards on both my ThinkPad and MacBook, so I opted for a low-profile keyboard with tactile switches due ... MoreTL;DR:The product offers premium quality. After market research, I decided to pre-order this one due to its unique combination of factors:- Top quality (metal chassis, PBT plastic, soundproofing, no modding is required),- Compact 60% layout with arrows,- High-end specs (guaranteed low latency and quick wake up, variety of connectivity options, good battery, tuned switches),- Well-thought-out design.I like keyboards on both my ThinkPad and MacBook, so I opted for a low-profile keyboard with tactile switches due to their similarity in key travel distance and tactile feedback. It has helped me adapt quickly, however, the experience is quite different: the keys sound a bit louder yet remain quiet and very pleasant; typing feels lighter and more responsive despite a slightly longer travel distance and higher actuation force in specs. Having tried the Moss switch from the extra switches, I find it closer to the laptop experience compared to the Wistaria, while the Wistaria strikes a sweet spot for me between lightness and tactile resistance.Moving on to the design: its laconic form, gentle and wide range of adjustable RGB lighting, and the new Iconic White color ideally complement my portable gaming Rog Ally setup, bringing me aesthetic pleasure.Worth mentioning are the small right Shift key and horizontal Enter key features. They might lead to increased typing errors initially. While this might bother some people, I view it as a trade-off for utilizing conventional arrow keys on a compact keyboard. It's also a chance for me to try something new and play around with QMK/VIA profiles to adjust how the keyboard works. Finally, my feedback for NuPhy developers.- Please consider adding a selection of shine-through keycaps as a standard order option. It feels like a loss to hide such high-quality RGB lighting under standard keycaps. Also, it's odd for me to have to buy shine-through keycaps separately in the same color.- Please make sure to mention in specs that the plastic cover is included in the box. This is important for me as I always use it for keyboard safety, especially when paired with NuFolio V3.- Keep experimenting with NuFolio; it's quite catchy and enjoyable to use. While it's good for covering, it doesn't entirely protect the keyboard from getting crumpled in a bag. Combining it with a plastic cover partially resolves this issue, but not completely. Additionally, the latch is a bit tight, but it may soften over time. What about introducing NuCase?I haven't mentioned the tiny details like the cute poster, stickers, and accessories, but they are important pieces of the whole experience. This review is already quite lengthy, serving as my expression of gratitude to the NuPhy engineers and the Service team for crafting and delivering a great product, providing me with a fantastic first-time experience using a mechanical keyboard.
1. First of all shipping feels like extra-long. Like two weeks waiting for preorder to be shipped, than a month-long travel from China for the price of $40 is too much for me.2. Foldable feet looks better than old ones but in middle position you just can't move the keyboard normally. It wobbles and jumps horribly. Did some crutches (literally, shown on photo), after that wobbling is gone.3. I personally like v1 keycaps color scheme much more. Wanted dual-color numbers row and ordered COAST Twilight keycaps specifically for that. But Twilight keycaps came in new color scheme too, with single-color numbers row, which is definitely NOT like in the photos.4. Typing is okay though, sounds better than my previous keyboard with Kailh Speed Silvers. Interesting that it ... More1. First of all shipping feels like extra-long. I own the Air60 v1 and decided to upgrade to the v2 because I liked the ionic white colour scheme. The cowberry switches sound and feel great. My main issue with the v1 is the small right shift key, which causes a lot of misclicks even months after using the v1. Other reviewers have also mentioned the same issue. I decided to upgrade to the v2 despite this because the Air60 has both the arrow keys and delete key which are very useful and other 60% keyboards do not have these. Nuphy added a bump to the up arrow key in the v2, which helped with this issue. I purchased another keycap set that I liked, and swapped the right shift key for the up arrow key of that keyset, while taking out the keycap with the bump for the right arrow key. I purchased another keycap set that I liked, and swapped the right shift key for the up arrow key of that keyset, while taking out the keycap with the bump for the right arrow key. This means the right shift key now has a bump that helps to home my right pinky finger in when pressing the right shift key. It is not perfect (as the bump is quite far south on the key rather than in the middle, but it helps a decent amount.Unfortunately, my v2 has had a key stuck a few times, which keeps it activated even though the key is not being pressed. The only way to correct the error was to switch it off and on. This has happened about 3 times in the 1-2 months I've been using it. It is a bit concerning since the keyboard is new, and I've not had that issue with the v1 ever. This, plus the right shift key, is the reason for the 4 stars. I still like it a lot and have looked at many other keyboards but ended up choosing the v2, and have no plans to switch.
Whole experience has been fantastic. It feels great and works really well.I really like the short throw clicky/tactile keys you get on mac laptops/low profile keyboards and so I found the Moss switches to be a great alternative that feel more like keys 'should' (I need a quite defined tactile bump response and so don't like linear). Moss does require a firm press so if you're lighter in touch you might prefer Wisteria (I would like to try a set to see if I prefer it as well, but I'm happy with this for now).Regarding keycap mods, I didn't see any different keycaps I wanted from NuPhy but found reports that 'XDA' profile keycaps might work on Air keyboards (since it's low profile, you can't put standard cherry Keycaps on it). It turns out that this DOES seem to be the case, as I got a set of 'Carbon' style clones off Aliexpress with a 'similar to XDA' profile (I can't be sure if they're the same) and they work perfectly (see pics). Note that you need to be careful to ensure that the width of the Shift/Alt and Spacebar match (6.25U is apparently what I bought and it works on Air60).It's a little bit of a squeeze with the NuFolio but it actually does snap shut with them attached.
this is the best mechanical keyboard i purchased until now, i’m very happy with it. so many thoughtful features. i researched extensively to choose which keyboard to buy and i can say it’s the best low profile keyboard one can find currently in the market.the wisteria limited edition switches are wonderful, not to mention the sound and feel! it’s a little louder than i imagined it but it’s wonderful.the experience of mapping keys with qmk/via is impressive, although it can be kinda buggy. one thing that can be tricky is the size and placement of the right shift key, but it’s a matter of getting used to it. also, i think the switch for the connection may not be very robust, i had to toggle it sometimes to get the wired connection working.thank you for putting ... Morethis is the best mechanical keyboard i purchased until now, i’m very happy with it. so many thoughtful features. i researched extensively to choose which keyboard to buy and i can say it’s the best low profile keyboard one can find currently in the market.the wisteria limited edition switches are wonderful, not to mention the sound and feel! it’s a little louder than i imagined it but it’s wonderful.the experience of mapping keys with qmk/via is impressive, although it can be kinda buggy. one thing that can be tricky is the size and placement of the right shift key, but it’s a matter of getting used to it. also, i think the switch for the connection may not be very robust, i had to toggle it sometimes to get the wired connection working.thank you for putting that price in the transportation case, if it wasn’t for that i would have had to pay a very high import fee. thank you so much for such an awesome product, the thoughtfulness you put into it is perceivable. i’m beyond amazed and satisfied!
