I have had the keyboard since December of 2023. Package arrived covered entirely of bubble wrap from what I can remember but everything was not damage (also purchased shine-thru white key caps and low profile reds 2.0 switches.) This white, Cowberry switch model is the one I ended up purchasing and has satisfied my needs. The sound and feel is great to me personally. Sounds poppy and bubbly. I would have liked to see the LEDs illuminate the wording on double sized key caps better( you can see it on words like “backspace” and “shift” for example.) I would say my hands tend to be sweatier than average people so I tend to have to wipe the keyboard clean a bit more often than others. I will say it is louder than a normal membrane keyboard. Software was not too complicated and once you remember the shortcuts to switch between Wi-Fi/blutooth settings through multiple devices (depending on how your setup is) is seamless. This is a great product and I think Nuphy has a bright future if they want to continue with more support of their low-profile keyboard line. There are not too many low profile keywords out there, let alone key caps and switches. I think they can be the leading brand if they create more low profile key caps/switches . I will say that the switches are not as silent as the black numpad I have on the side (I installed Meletrix White Linear Silent switches and I love them on this numpad. I really needed a double-sized keycap for the number 0; that was the main drawback for me if I were to move up within this keyboard series.)Overall I recommend this keyboard for those who want a low profile, elegant looking keyboard that offer customs macros, customizable light effects and ease of portability (I might end up getting a case for this but for now I just throw it in my backpack; the plastic cover that comes with it suffices to put on top of it to cover it from dust/potential scratches.) In addition, this to me looks very unique compared to other low profile keyboards if you are looking for something else you might have in your “collection.” I’ve only had one other mechanical keyboard and it was a Thermaltake Tt e Sports Poseidon Z Brown Switches that was purchased new back in 2015 for $100. At this current time, I think the Air 75 V2 earns a competitive and unique spot in the keyboard market. I would definitely be more interested if they offer more support in terms of different low-profile key caps and switches.

Nuphy Air75 + Moss Green Switches + Nuphy CaseThis keyboard feels and sounds great out of the box. The RGB is nice and the rubberized feet are great. The Moss Green switches feel a tad bit too heavy for me personally but they sound and feel amazing. However, my problems with the case are that the keycaps are not shine-through so the RGB is kind of wasted, there are no black replacement keycaps for the esc + enter + spacebar, the bottom of the case is plastic, the switches fall out too easily for the enter + backspace keys especially, no charging cable adapter, and the $30 Nuphy case is really bad.I would recommend not buying the case unless you just really like the aesthetic because it feels more like an accessory than an actual protective travel case. The case has many problems as well as having to flip the keyboard around several times in order to get it out so it’s always scary trying not to drop the case with the keyboard in it. The case also has a metal button to clip to in the middle of the case but because of how thin it is and how it is designed, my iPad wobbles around when placed on top of it. When I try to use it as a stand it collapses and my iPad falls down so I don’t understand the shape or name of the case. The aesthetics and magnet on the case is nice but the case is extremely uncomfortable to use because it also unevenly wobbles when completely folded up so it’s practically unusable with my iPad and keyboard.Besides that my overall experience with the Nuphy Air75 is good and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who likes working on the go using a solid, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing keyboard. Compared to the Keychron K3 Pro this keyboard in my opinion is more solid and has better built-in software, hardware, and lighting. The keyboard also comes with anime wallpaper, extra keycaps to test out, charging cable, and a switch/keycap puller so it is pretty nice.

With the new Cowberry switches this keyboard really sings. The typing experience is fantastic and is overall very satisfying. The actuation force is not too heavy and not too light. Feels just right! And it doesn’t get fatiguing over time like heavier switches would. The sound with the foam under the plate and the silicone under the space bar make every key press sound amazing. I’ve never been so exited to type out long sentences until I used this keyboard lol. The sound isn’t annoyingly loud either, it’s this very subtle pitter-patter.Being hot swap I was able to replace certain keys with heavier switches so i don’t accidentally press them as I’m not quite used to the 75% layout arrow keys and smaller shift. It was super simple to swap switches since the tools required to swap them are included in the box.The ability to customize and remap keys in VIA is a game changer. I was able to remap windows ctrl to where Mac command is so that I wouldn’t have to relearn the muscle memory of Mac shortcuts when using windows. And it works on any windows machine without having to adjust software since all remaps are stored on device. I’ve also set up other useful macros to make Windows feel more like Mac. One thing I wish I could change is the color of individual keys within VIA instead of only being able to pick a color for the whole thing. You also can’t control the side light colors in VIA either. Switching between Mac and Windows mode is a snap. I’m glad it’s a built in switch. I’ve never seen a VIA keyboard with this many layers before. It unlocks a whole lot of customization that other keyboards can’t.The leather travel case also feels amazing. The lighter part is regular smooth leather and the darker part and the flap with the button are this very soft new buck type texture. The keyboard fits perfectly inside. Though there’s no space for the wireless dongle in the case or under the keyboard. But not an issue if you’re on Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connectivity is really convenient. With a quick key combo you can switch quickly between 3 Bluetooth and 1 dongle wireless connections. The high polling rate on the wireless dongle is fantastic. I play rhythm games and I’ve found the latency between wired and wireless are pretty much the same as they both poll at 1000hz.The 2 angles of the folding feet are nice too. I’ve found that with the palm rest, the lower of the feet angles is the most comfortable for me.The keycaps feel so good. The matte texture is really great, the legibility is really clear and clean on the legends. I love the font they use with the rounded edges. All the standard Mac icons on the F row are here. And there are some extra keycaps for windows and macOS launchpad. I also dig that they included red escape and green enter, the opposite of their usual. It helps if you get confused by that sort of thing or just like the aesthetic accept and deny matching they keys. The clear bottom half with aluminum top is a nice touch. It gets cold in the mornings and warms up through the day. The way the RGB shines through the bottom looks really cool.I love the keyboard so much I decided to make some wallpapers for it to help me remember the key commands to adjust functions of the keyboard like lighting and connection. Though the combos are so simple I end up not needing to look anyway.Overall great keyboard out of the box that sounds and feels amazing and great for productivity and gaming across Mac and Windows. Specially for people running two computers at the same desk.

Not all keycaps were fully seated on the switches, I had to manually adjust them2. The trial set of switches included all options except blue ones, which is a pity, I wanted to hear how they sound in real lifeThe only one significant minus:1. The keyboard can freeze, not responding to any presses until it is rebooted, or get stuck on a button press and also not respond until rebooted. Even the backlight freezes and instead of breathing, it becomes static.I don't know if this is related to the use of wireless mode or is the same for everyone, but it happens once or twice a week, which is not annoying yet, but spoils the mood.I looked at the latest firmware, it supposedly should cure this problem, but the absurd thing is that the website warns against updating the software so as not to break it. Although usually all manufacturers recommend updating the software.
I was umming and ahhing about this vs the (really only two) other options for similar low profile mech keyboards, and found the vast consensus the Air 75 v2 was the greatest balance between how it types, key switch options and premium feel.Happy to report back that this is absolutely the case - it feels brilliant to type on, I'm able to just unplug it from my PC and bring it to work to use with my laptop there, it sits neatly on top of most laptop keyboards (both my X13 Flow and Macbook Pro work) with the feet between the keys to vastly upgrade the typing experience.I opted for the Cowberry switches, and they include single key switches of the other options in the pack to try them all - in hindsight, I definitely made the right choice for me, but its great to ... I have a few low profile MX keycap sets that work perfect, and there are a couple of extras in the box to customise to Mac/Windows and a couple different colours.VIA customisation worked perfectly to adjust the keyboard to a more british layout - and to be honest I made a few modifications to suit my workflow better, it was super easy and intuitive and very happy this is a feature here. While ANSI vs ISO is a long standing debate, at least in Europe for Custom Keyboards, I'm happy to sacrifice the big Enter key if I can amend the keys at the keyboard level rather than hacky software. All in all very happy with the keyboard and will likely get a Nuphy keyboard if I ever need an extra!
I used the keyboard for over a month before posting this review. The keyboard itself is 9.5/10 fantastic overall, in its build quality and pleasure of use. It produces a pleasant thocky sound straight out of the box and is honestly great value for money. Default shortcuts are well thought out and it is obvious the product was designed with care in mind. Firstly, the customer service is just as fantastic as the product. No chatbots or other nonsense is involved, just a straight cheerful human replying to your messages. The choice of courier was amazing too, I was kept informed in a detailed manner throughout the process and delivery was hassle free, despite being in a South American country. My only very minor complaints would be that my Wisteria switches feel much softer after around a month of use than they did originally, and the LED brightness for certain colours is much lower than I would have liked, although this seems to have been fixed with the later v1.1.1 firmware. Firmware and key mapping instructions could use work too, their guides often lead to dead links and incomplete instruction. The shine-through keys produce a significantly clacky-er sound compared to the normal keys, this is however to be expected. These are very minor niggles however in the grand scheme of things and I would not stop me from recommending the keyboard in the slightest, I only covered them for completeness. I am genuinely pleased with my purchase and find myself looking for excuses to type much more just so I can experience the cathartic pleasure of use.Genuinely well done to Nuphy and I cannot wait to see what this firm comes up with next!
Pros:Everything was perfect and smooth, starting from buying experience and communicating with support about shipping and to delivery time package. There is a small pin in the set + poster and the packing looks cool - so happy with what I got for 100%Cons:The strange thing appeared with switches. This is my 1st mechanical keyboard and I ordered default brown ones, considering they not gonna be noisy...When it arrived - I noticed it's pretty loud, which makes it a bit uncomfortable when typing all the day. But decided it is probably not an issue but a feature of all mechanical keyboards, so still was happy with what I got, even despite it was a bit annoying to work now. However, when I came to office in 2 weeks and compared the sound with 3 different nuphy keyboards of colleagues (air v1 with red sw, halo with green and another halo with another switches, cant remember exact) - it appeared that mine is much louder and the touch experience is different . Halo's feels much better in terms of moving caps, you can feel it during all the way down, and it does not create this kind of clicky plastic noise. The air v1 was pretty similar in touch experience (I believe its about low vs high profile issue), but still was much quiet and without this plastic clicky sound (like 1 piece of plastic beat another when typing).I tried other switches which were in the set and it felt like the only moss does not have this "issue", but they are not in stock for a while, so was not able to order ones. + still feel it's kind of expensive to order switches for 40 when new keyboards with them will be just 10$ more, and strange why brown is so much louder than old red ones...Concl:Still, love the product as it's super stylish and even despite the fact I'm not really enjoying the typing experience - I am happy with how it looks like. Wish you add more caps with transparent letters on it, so you can type with 1 hand in the night and wish you have possibility to order just 27 switches for lover price, instead of ordering bulk for 1/3 of keyboard price!Thank you any way and wish you a great day =)
Hello,I am highly satisfied with this mechanical keyboard due to its excellent build quality and the durability of the materials used for the keys. Its aesthetics and design are also of a very high standard. However, there are certain aspects that prevent me from considering it perfect. As a programmer, I chose this keyboard for several reasons:- It can be programmed via VIA,- It is compatible with various operating systems (macOS, Linux, Windows),- It allows for easy switching between devices,- It has an attractive design. The key reason for my purchase was the ability to use programmable layers. By holding down the right CMD key, I activate the second layer, which gives me quick access to the most frequently used characters, such as brackets. Living in ... Living in Poland, I also use Polish diacritical marks, which I access using the right ALT key. However, I encountered a problem with the need to uncomfortably bend my right thumb when using the right CMD key and, in particular, the right ALT key. A simple solution to this problem would be to shorten the space bar and move the CMD and ALT keys to the left. It would be ideal if a new key was added between the space bar and CMD, taking up part of the space bar's length. I would eagerly purchase such a keyboard if it were made available.Another useful feature would be the ability to configure the keyboard's backlighting depending on the active layer, for example, red backlighting for the first layer and green for the second.Previously, I used the Magic Keyboard and prefer a shorter key travel. I would be very interested in a version of this keyboard with ultra-low key travel.Thank you for considering my feedback.Best regards,Marcin
Was looking for something to replace a Keychron K10 with disfunctional bluetooth. The Air V2 was seemed like a good choice since it had booth Bluetooth, 2.4 ghz wireless, and was aesthetically pleasing to me. The opaque backside looks great, and overall the keyboard feels very nice.I got the cowberry switches and I really like the sound. I’m heavy handed on the keys and the cowberry switches are much nicer for those around me than my gateron reds and cherry reds that I have used in the past. The video demonstration of the different switches is very accurate for the cowberry, in my opinion. I really appreciate that they included some of the other switches in the box. I think it’s very thoughtful.2.4ghz wireless has been great so far. Wired is great. Both gaming ... MoreWas looking for something to replace a Keychron K10 with disfunctional bluetooth. Have not tried bluetooth.Personally, I’m not a fan of low profile keyboards, but this one has grown on me. It feels pretty good and the 75% layout is taking some getting used to coming from 100% but doesn’t feel that bad. I’m glad I took a chance on it. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve waited since the Gem80 was announced.I do wish the keycaps would’ve been shine through but it wasn’t a deal breaker and I knew that going in.Would recommend this keyboard if you’re in the market for a low profile keyboard or looking for something compact.
