I am extremely satisfied with my Nutribullet purchase. It's easy to use and clean up and a great way to get some nutrients in your diet to start the day right. All ingredients are perfectly blended in few seconds (I have tried nuts, wetbix and ginger) and perfectly mixed with your fruits and vegetables of choice. I have been preparing my ingredients at night, storing the nutribullet cup in the fridge, then just adding water and proteins before making my smoothie in the morning. Life changing for people that are time poor. The next step is to make dips from scratch. Can't wait.

We bought Nutribullet Mega Pack 900 for Christmas and we never missed a day using it since. Most days, we use it several times for making fresh fruit and veges smoothies, combining all sorts of healthy ingredients. Protein shakes are another common fare in the house. Anything you put in, inlcuding nuts, powders and ice gets blended in seconds into wonderfully smooth drinks that taste awesome. Washing the cup and the blades is super easy and quick! I highly recommend this powerful blender! It is a no brainer given its price.

Absolutely stoked with my nutribullet. I spent way too much time researching them as I've never owned one before... ended up going around in circles for hours, decided to take a punt and purchase this one which was the first one I saw anyway. Totally happy that I did! It has absolutely no problem blending hard fruits, ice and nuts, and creates the most amazing smoothies in less than 60 seconds (a little longer for nuts). It came with three cups - one for a single serve and two for two servings. There are two blades too, one for smoothies and one for crushing nuts only. Note, I had to google these as there weren't any instructions in the box. I don't know why some people complain about the noise. It's a blender. It's going to be noisy. But you only need to use it for a very short period of time. I have no problem at all with the noise level. All in all, it was an excellent choice for a first time smoothie maker and I'm in love with it!
Apart from having to take my first Megapack back to Myers because it was missing the lid, I'm a bit underwhelmed with the performance of my Nutribullet. It says beware of the sharp blades, but these blades couldn't cut jelly let alone skin. I'd been making excellent papaya smoothies with my 25yo Braun 250W stick blender, yet with nearly 4 times the power, the Nutribullet leaves pea-sized chunks of fruit. And the absence of an on/off switch is a serious design flaw: I got a very unpleasant fright when I plugged the machine in and hadn't noticed the power point was "on", as it immediately started blending when I wasn't ready to hold the unit (it seriously leaps on the bench when it starts!). Still considering whether to ask for a refund. Surprised & disappointed that ... MoreApart from having to take my first Megapack back to Myers because it was missing the lid, I'm a bit underwhelmed with the performance of my Nutribullet. So I've been using this blender for a few weeks now and have to say I'm pretty happy overall. Works with most things I've thrown at it including ice, frozen vegetables (sometimes needs some thawing first), frozen fruits, nuts, seeds etc. I use it every day without any real issue. It's not super loud like some other blenders and it works pretty efficiently. I personally like the jug's also being drinking containers as it's much easier to use/clean than the upright jugs that are for pouring. There aren't many downsides however I have noticed sometimes there's a weird burning smell. This was more prevalent when I first purchased but not so common now. Lastly the accessories are limited and costly if you have to purchase directly from Nutribullet which appears to be the case for official accessories in Australia. This package comes with three jugs for blending but only one lid. Would recommend if you're looking for something at the $100 price point. Nothing too fancy, good but not state of the art.
I purchased this item to replace an aging stab mixer, mostly for the purpose of grinding flax seeds and for my adult son to make smoothies. I used Myer's click & collect which was a simple process, collected the item, took it home, only to discover many of the items were missing from the box. I can only assume someone had helped themselves to 2 cups, the milling blade and the rubber grip from the top of the box. Very frustrating.. Took the box back to the helpful staff at the hub in Roselands and the young man working there put things right immediately. Happy customer. So, to reviewing the Nutribullet itself. I've found it amazing for milling flax seeds and very simple to use. My son however finds he preferred the somewhat chunky result of the stab mixer and also said that the smoothie turned out a bit warm using the Nutribullet, even though it was blending cold milk and a frozen banana. He has reverted back to the stab mixer for now. I'm looking forward to experimenting with some fruit & veg juices etc. I have contacted Nutribullet directly to suggest that the instruction booklet needs revising as it states "never use the Nutribullet without adding liquid" and there is no mention of the milling blade in the instructions anywhere, a blade that is specifically designed for use with dry ingredients only. Perplexing for consumers like me who like to follow instructions.
This is my second NutriBullet purchase. I had a gold coloured 900 Series that I bought probably 10+ years ago off a TV shopping show. It was great. Never missed a beat, often being used twice, sometime three times a day. Until it died through constant use. Bearings in the blades seized and the unit was getting louder and louder, I even wore ear muffs when using it. Then it just stopped and didn’t go again with a crazy burning smell. We’re both quite health conscious and make lots of protein smoothies. So naturally, when you have a good experience with a product and they are now available in stores, it’s an easy decision to just get another one. You’d expect the same from another 900 series unit. Only difference, this one was black. First impression is the quality is much less than my previous unit. It was much lighter than the first and has a very plastic feel to it all over. My first one was metallic and a heavy unit on the bench. The new one, the little suction cup feet don’t even work. The blades on the new one, are quite dull compared to my first one. Again, the blade piece, feels like a much softer plastic than my previous one. Also, when I turn the blades by hand, they are not very loose. They don’t spin freely, so the bearings are already tight, and I have no doubt they probably won’t last long. I’ve already noticed in the first few uses, the bearings get quite hot which is leaking heat into the drinks. The new unit is quieter, which is great. But it seems a lot slower and the smoothies are not as smooth either. So the combination of slower speed, blunt blades and tighter bearings, means the smoothies are of a lower quality. I’m no longer in love with this product. The company has obviously thrown out quality to produce a cheap throwaway item when it fails. Getting over 10 years from my last one, I doubt I’ll get half that from this one.
I bought this Nutribullet 900W on 9 May 2019 from Myer Gdn City. I am not a heavy user but used it for smoothies and blend chillies every now and then. This is a pretty powerful and very noisy, extremely loud blender. Since last year, there were burning smell coming out and tiny black particles and oil appeared. It was also difficult to screw and unscrew the container. Sometimes the juice leak. I won't recommend this product. The only thing I like is it does not occupy much space in my pantry. Now I am looking at Ninja Nutri-Blender Pro with Auto-iQ which has a pulse button.
Nutribullet itself is fine - used a few times and does what it's meant to. Agree with previous reviews that you do get a faint hint of 'motor smell' but other than that it makes a great smoothie and so easy to clean compared to a blender. One star is for the awful 'customer service' of Myer. The continue to use the completely hopeless Couriers Please who routinely lose your package. I spent a week trying to locate a missing package, pretty much zero help from Myer who don't care because they have your money. Final straw for me - I'll never shop with Myer again. Delivery is 100% reliable with David Jones.
