First off- this appliance is amazing for making high quality baby purees- fruit and veg purees are super smooth. It's fun to use- you simply set it and forget it. The blender is loud though, and suddenly goes off if you chose the 'Auto' mode, which can wake the baby up. It does come off as a cheaper nutribullet product though. Let me explain. A must have for anyone with littles!!

As a mom I want nothing but the best for my kids! Between the rising food prices and ingredient list, I wanted to try to make homemade baby food. This machine helped me reach that’s dream/goal. With the nutribullet baby steam + blend I’m able to steam and purée my kids food all in one! The machine is relatively the size of an average coffee maker so you can virtually fit it anywhere. Best Homemade Baby Food

This little gadget took me by surprise, I really didn’t think it would actually cook foods with just steam. When I made my first batch of applesauce I seriously didn’t think the apple chunks were going to cook, I was more amazed that they not only cooked but were steaming hot. I learned to be patient and let foods cool down after getting a steam burn from taking the container off the Nutribullet too soon. I keep the instructions handy because some foods do need more water to cook properly. Basically, the amount of water put in the chamber determines steam time, some foods I steam then pulse because using the automatic setting produces a very smooth consistency in vegetables and fruits. I did have trouble getting the container on properly initially but after some practice finally got it on and off easier. I liked that the lid could come apart and become a bowl, I put some food in there then put the rest into containers. I ended up using this to process meat too, the jarred ones are often terrible and making my own means it actually gets eaten. A recipe book was included and I have made a few of the recipes, I was pleased that our little one loved everything I made. My favorite part was no longer precooking ingredients in a separate pan, this is a great time saver and it made making my own foods easier.

Easy to use & clean

NutriBullet Baby Steam & Blend is so easy to use and even easier to clean. Most of the items are dishwasher safe which makes it easy to toss it on the top rack. I personally hand wash it but I like the option to put it in the dishwasher to give it a deep clean every now and then. The booklet that it comes with contains some great easy to follow recipes. It also has a guide on how long to steam certain fruits and vegetables. I do wish they included more for other items as the list is very short. I followed the instructions for sweet potatoes and it came out perfect. I love the consistency and that you can choose how you want the consisency to be (firmer for older babies or add some water to make it slightly thinner for younger babies). The only thing I didn't have success with was strawberries. I went the minimal steam time and used the auto steam and blend option, but the puree came out very runny where we couldn't really use it. Next time I'll add more strawberries in hopes it won't be as runny. Other than that, I haven't run into any issues and I love that it does everything in one product so there's less to clean up. I would recommend this to others for sure!

As a first time momma , I love this product. Before I had my baby, I knew I wanted to make all of my baby food but I thought I might be lazy (or tired). This product is quick and easy! It does everything. I have other variations of nutri bullet but this works the best for baby food. My husband didn’t see the point of this product since we have blenders, juicers, smoothie blenders, etc; however this purifies the food much smaller than other blender variations while keeping the nutrients (and now he sees the point lol). On Sunday’s I make baby food for the week , put it in the storage containers, and it just makes life easier. Great idea but terrible quality - both units broke within days

I received my first NutriBullet baby system and was so excited to use it. I read the manual and followed the instructions and the first time using the steamer there was some malfunction with water pod and boiling hot water leaked inside of the unit, ultimately melting the power button off and frying the electronics inside. I contacted the manufacturer and through the warranty I recieved a new one. Great! I tried this one out and did not have the same issue - was so excited! I used it for about a week when one day I came to check on the sweet potato I had steamed and blended using the auto cycle. The potatoes were steamed and super soft but not at all blended. It cooks and purées food for you literally with the push of a few buttons. Additionally, cleaning it up is so easy! Instead of having to clean a pot, steam basket and blender it’s one thing to clean. Super bad quality

Super bad quality. Since i opened the box i had the impression but i was like NaHhhh… it cant be its nutrí bullet! Well it turns i was right. If i’ve used this unit 15 times im over exaggerating and it broke already. The blade does not leave the food as blended. I think i would of been better of getting the nutrí bullet baby blender than this bulky bad quality 💩. I called customer service they are sending me a new one i rather would have exchanged it for the baby bullet but apparently it has to be a same item. Honestly nutri bullet step up ur game cus although the idea is great the materials and unit itself its super low grade bad quality. I wish i honestly could get my money back… not happy at all with this purchase!

Terrible product and service

Absolutely disappointed with this product. I bount it super excited thinking it would make everything easier but after using it 2 times the blade would not turn . My husband checked it and he said it had unglued. I was beyond upset that a product this pricy would break on the second use . I did not want a replacement because I didn’t want to keep such a bad product . Well it turns out they don’t want you to return products because they charged me $20 to send the item for return . It’s obvious they know their product suck otherwise it would be free return . Absolutely don’t record this product or brand to anyone . I also have a magic bullet which I bought a year ago that unglued . I recently got the opportunity to try the NutriBullet Baby Steam & Blend for taking vegetables and steaming/blending them for my baby. As excited as I was to receive this, I am sorely disappointed in this unit. First, it's big and clunky, takes up too much room, has way too many steps produce food for my little one. This has options for steaming which is done by adding water to the reservoir, turning the dial to steam and wait the required time for the food to finish it's cycle. You then can remove the food to a bowl to feed baby after it cools or put it in a container and freeze for later use. The large blending/ steaming jar and lid is difficult to handle when it has hot food in it even though it has a handle on it. Cleaning, peeling and chopping food into VERY small pieces to steam takes a lot of time. Some pieces still are hard after the process has stopped. Clean up with this unit is a no, you can put some of the pieces into the dishwasher but I prefer to hand wash being careful of the blades in the lid. This review didn't give me the option to post photographs. It is NOT the unit shown on this site. So the options to steam and or blend with the pulse option or let this do it automatically are nice by just turning a dial on the front of the steamer. I don't feel this is saving me time trying to make garden to table food for my little one.
