I am loving this BCAA hydration powder! Truly thrilled with it. The flavor is refreshingly natural, which I appreciate – quite different from the overly sweet taste I was expecting. While the recommended serving is a bit on the sweeter side, it's easy to adjust to your taste preference. It's a touch heavy on the salt, but that's to be expected with hydration products like this. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the powder dissolves. For those sensitive to sucralose, be aware that the formula does include it. Overall, it's a nice pick-me-up to enjoy during the day, helping me to stay hydrated and replenish my energy, especially after workouts.

First of all, since this is sweetened with sucralose, it tastes really good, especially if you like peach flavor. It's not super-intense, but it masks the BCAA taste pretty well. I love this for pre-workout. You get seven grams of BCAAs in the preferred 2:1:1 ratio. Seven grams is a good amount. Five is typically recommended. On top of that, you get a gram of citrulline malate, which gives me a good pump and energy, plus half a gram of glutamine. You also get electrolytes (calcium, sodium, magnesium, and potassium) but not in huge amounts like you get in many sports drinks. I'm looking at mainly sodium here. I don't know who doesn't get enough sodium in their diet these days, so the 60 mg. you get in this is welcome for a workout but is only 3% of your DV. I love BCAAs. I was turned on to them by a workout buddy years ago, who told me it was to help muscle recovery. We knocked out a massive workout that night, and the next day, when I fully expected to be shuffling around like an old man, I was sore but it was very manageable. I was shocked. I was sold.Ever since I've tried different flavors, including unflavored. BCAAs taste horrific. It's a flavor that socks you in the face and doesn't leave you for a while. There's not much you can mix it in that hides it well. Don't do it to yourself. This is the second flavor I've tried by this brand. The flavors on both are excellent! You can taste just a hint of the BCAAs, but it's so minor you can ignore it and it doesn't kill the actual pleasant flavor on top. This brand makes ... MoreI love BCAAs. I've used these BCAAs to help prevent soreness or reduce it once it's there. Recovery is huge for me, so anything that improves that ability is worth its weight in gold. Not only does faster recovery mean you feel better, but it means you can workout again sooner and train harder. This product checks all of those boxes. If you like to exercise you owe it to yourself to aid your recovery. Try these BCAAs, you won't be disappointed.I highly recommend!

Nutricost BCAA Powder has become a daily staple in my supplement regimen. The taste is great and I usually mix it with flavorless creatine. It mixes easily with water with no clumps, and no residue, and provides a smooth drink. I know I'm getting all the powder without any clumping at the bottom, because once I finish the glass there is very little residue on the sides. Just to be sure I get every particle I can, I usually fill the cup up again with water and drink that. You can never hydrate enough. This container will last a month, which is a great value. Most importantly, it has a real impact on my exercise and recovery. I've noticed significant improvements in my endurance, and the recovery time post-exercise has been remarkably reduced. This BCAA powder has become an essential part of my fitness routine. I also learned the hard way that this stuff really works, because when I stopped using it for a couple weeks, I soon noticed the difference as my exercise performance started to decline. After starting back up again, I was back to achieving new gains. I highly recommend as a great way to boost your workout potential.

What I like is how I feel. I’m over 55 so muscle soreness comes with nearly everything I do. After a pilates class someone asked me if I used amino acids and of course I gave the deer in the headlights look back. I ordered the unflavored and it was rough! I used it for a month or so then ordered another brand of unflavored that is even worse! I then tried and found that when mixing with water, stir it in and then let it set until completely dissolved, approximately 5 mins. The unpleasant taste is cut drastically! I’m not a big juice or flavored drink person but I may give that a try. The positive effect of less soreness definitely outweigh the taste factor. The real savings is in the cost, 90 servings for the same price of most that have only 30 and no extra ... MoreWhat I like is how I feel. First of all, I've never taken a BCAA supplement, so I don't really know what to look for as far as comparing it to other similar products. I do feel pretty good after drinking it 5 or so times in the last week though. I feel like it does well hydrating me after a workout.Let's talk about the flavor now. I got the peach rings flavor, and it tastes pretty close! However it is very potent. The product recommends 1 scoop per 8-16 ounces of water. I tried it with 8 ounces and it was way too potent, I would definitely recommend using closer to 16, or even more ounces of water per scoop if you don't need really potent flavor. There is a very slight flavor in the background that reminds me of chewable vitamins or something, but I only catch that flavor every once in ... MoreFirst of all, I've never taken a BCAA supplement, so I don't really know what to look for as far as comparing it to other similar products. Im not going to vouch anything regarding supplement claims of BCAA or any of that sort.My review is based on taste and ease of use.Quality/taste is that it's flavorful. Being as flavorful as it is, I do wonder how much sucralose is in it. I actually only do half the scoop in about 10 oz of water as that's where the flavor level is perfect for me.The powder mixes very easily in cold water. I make sure I have water in a bottle first, then add in the powder. (Powder before water made the powder go everywhere when the water landed on it.) Shake for maybe 10-15 seconds and it's good to drink. At the rate in drinking, (only post heavy workout days) the container will last me quite some time so I feel the value is there.I haven't had any noticeable side effects from ... MoreIm not going to vouch anything regarding supplement claims of BCAA or any of that sort.My review is based on taste and ease of use.Quality/taste is that it's flavorful. This is a 14 oz twist-top container of BCAA+ Hydration Powder from Nutricost, in peach mango flavor. It arrived perfectly fresh and factory sealed with a neck ring and foil seal. Inside the container along with the powder is a measuring scoop. The instructions say to mix one scoop with 8 to 16 ounces of water and mix well. It is a little bit hard to get fully mixed, but a shaker bottle helps and works better than just mixing in a regular glass. Most of the hydration powders I have are berry or watermelon flavored, so one of the reasons I got this was to try a different kind of flavor. I will say it's quite sweet, and for me probably a bit too sweet, but it's also nicely tangy. The peach and mango flavor is really good. The container says it provides 30 servings, and at the time I'm writing this the price is $24.95, which seems reasonable.
I was told to add some BCAAs to my post workout routine, as I was often sore for days afterward, so I decided to give this powder a try. It’s marketed as unflavored, so. I assumed it would blend well with the protein shake that I usually have afterwards (milk, chocolate protein powder, frozen bananas, and some peanut butter). Even with all of the other ingredients, this powder is so bitter it ruins the flavor of my shake, which I don’t really look forward to drinking anymore as a result. The BCAAs in the powder have helped my recovery, so it does work, but the powder is pretty gross. I think I’m just going to spend more on a higher quality protein powder with the BCAAs already incorporated into the formula, as I’m not sure how much longer I can choke this ... MoreI was told to add some BCAAs to my post workout routine, as I was often sore for days afterward, so I decided to give this powder a try.
