Really fun and easy to use. Only started with it and the drums care great. Best way to noodle and especially if you want to try new things. For me this was a simple loop to play slide over. It just keeps playing as long as you want it!!

Initial troubles with connecting to a computer, turns out it was my faulty USB cable (NU-X responded fairly quickly to me - which was good). However, the audio converter software from the NU-X website will not open on a Mac with Catalina as the Mac cannot verify the developer. You have to go into your Preferences and change your security settings to open the software. After that - OK. I'm still experimenting with the unit so I cant comment on that, but a list of the in-built rhythms (style, emphasis on '2' etc.) would be handy.

It’s a really well made pedal with a metal body finished to a high standard. Even the packaging is top notch sturdy cardboard. It’s easy to use and fun to play with by the ease one can make one’s own backing tracks. Plus, as always GAK is cheaper than Amazon 👍😁

Great product made well fun to use highly recommend
There's more to this than the short guide tells you, but there are plenty of people on YouTube with how to use it. Fantastic amount of memories on the looper and plenty of drum rhythms. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is an earphone socket . Great value pedal.
Fairly easy to use, once you get the stop start of a loop down its nothing but fun and also a very good learning tool
It appears to work well and provides all the functions as promised. Unfortunately, there is no power supply included with the unit. So, I had to go & buy a 240V to 9V power supply before I could use it. am also considering buying a 12V to 9V adaptor to enable its operation with from power bank with a cordless amplifier. The Nu-X JTC Pro offers a lot of functions for a reasonable price.
What a fun creative looper and drum machine disguised as an effects pedal. I have a lot of loopers, I love 'em. Great tools for songwriting and practising your greatness!!! :) What's nice is you can use this with ANY instrument that has an output. It's simple, easy to use and has usable configs for any situation. Right outta the box you get a master setup with dual outputs for amps and mixers to define the overall mix or just plug it straight into your amp and/or audio interface. There's 256 user slots and 6 hours of jam time onboard. Read that again haha awesome bang for your buck. Can't think of any cons other than they say it has a stereo input if used with a TRS jack but I haven't tried that yet, I'm using it for guitar. There are different chain settings with ... Can't think of any cons other than they say it has a stereo input if used with a TRS jack but I haven't tried that yet, I'm using it for guitar. There are different chain settings with these types of pedals you may want to consider. The Digitech TRIO is a PRE Pedal-board effect unit where as this is a POST Pedal-board effect unit. Meaning: pedals like the TRIO want your guitar input and then route your guitar to your Effects Pedal-board whereas the JTC can go at the end of your Pedal-board so you can literally record/loop your effects along with the drums... If that doesn't make sense, no worries, it's all good it's just the way the units are used with other pedals and of course all can be used with AMP Effect Loops (Ins/Outs). I currently have a Zoom G3 running into it to provide my guitar processing and I get happily lost with just those two alone. I am still experimenting with the NU-X JTC Drum and Loop Pro Pedal and one thing I can say is this is a lot of fun to play. If you are wanting a way to take Backing Tracks with you for Live gigging this thing can do that too. You can use those 256 slots to install your tracks via computer. Lots to enjoy about this pedal and I'm glad I got one. I have many different setups and this is designed for jamming, no doubt about it!
The NUX is a great looper/drum machine. This NUX can record 256 different loops and has six hours of recording time, which is the most in the industry. The NUX has 40 different drum beats, and the ability to add a drum fill is really nice, and unique for loopers. The NUX is much better to practice with than a metronome, and recording your practice exposes improvement opportunities fast. With the NUX, you can add multiple layers to a recorded loop. If you play different instruments you can add these in the loop--for example, you can lay down bass line with the drum track, put an acoustic or rhythm guitar track down over that, and practice soloing live over that. Or, you could have your bandmates add their parts to the loop individually. The NUX accepts a microphone ... MoreThe NUX is a great looper/drum machine. Or, you could have your bandmates add their parts to the loop individually. The NUX accepts a microphone with XLR to 1/4 jack for recording--which lets you record any acoustic instrument you can mic without a pickup--for example a piano, drums, horn or harmonica, even vocals. The NUX has a USB input. You can update the NUX with a computer uplink through the USB, save and store tracks onto a computer. You can also play digital recordings through the mix and practice or record over the recording, while recording the end result. With the NUX, the practicing options nearly infinite. The NUX also has different "finishes" for your track, abrupt, one shot, finish the loop or fade. It has performance/recording quality sound. You could easily perform with this solo. What is more, the NUX also can also function in stereo, and send parts of the loop right or left, or to your amp and a mixer. It runs off of a 9volt adapter--which you must buy separate, and you can get an optional footswitch, which would help for live performances with this. NUX created a very versatile tool.
Love this looper. Very easy to operate. It didn't take me long to understand how it works.
