It’s a great price point for a product that is touted as being a dupe for Milk Hydro Grip primer. Sadly, this just didn’t work for me. I have combination skin and get very sweaty in the summer. This didn’t grip my foundation or make-up even though there is a slight tackiness to the product on the skin after application. After 2 hours the only make-up left on my skin was eye make-up (I didn’t use primer on or around my eyes). Upon application it felt very much like a water based moisturizer like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line or the Belif Water Bomb, which I really enjoyed. It applied quite nicely and basically absorbed into the skin, leaving it a little tacky which I don't mind. I used the Nyx Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil and the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer over it and both blended reaaaaaally nicely with this primer. As for longevity, I put the product on at 7am and my makeup stayed on until I took it off at 5pm before heading to the gym, save for the occasional powder touch-ups which I always do anyway.Overall I'm quite pleased with this primer and will definitely continue using it. I do wish it had more a pore-filling aspect but that is probably my only grievance.

this pairs beautifully with matte foundations. it’s not the most pore blurring, but does help with smoothness. the texture of the primer is the most exciting to play with. a little goes a long way, and you get more than half of the standard amount of product in a primer. i don’t love the jar packaging, as you have to be sticking your fingers into it or buy mini spatulas. these photos are before and after a 3 hour workout.

I hate expecting a product to be comparable and then being sorely disappointed like I was with this. And although it’s not as much as the other primer , I still paid $17 which is still a lot of money to waste. I’ll probably end up throwing this in a deep, dark corner of my vanity to never see the daylight again.

I like this primer. I know there may be better ones out there but so far this has worked pretty well for me, my skin is primed and looks very pretty for the base. Everything goes on nicely and it’s not to drying or sticky. It lasts a while and looks so cute as well in the packaging I love. I use this everyday. One of my favorites but I could find better. Keeps my makeup on for a while and looks amazing though so I do love this. Really nothing bad to say about it.

I have never found primers that work for me... I've tried a handful but never really got on with them. Having recently hit 40 (!!) my skin is not as youthful as it was before and my go to foundation has not looked as good. UNTIL... I gave this primer a go. I can honestly (honestly!) say, this is a game changer. For me, it works amazingly. My make up lasts all day, it's continues to look fresh and glowy and my foundations (Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser!) sits perfectly on top. My pores are invisable and my skin looks younger! You won't need to apply much, it spreads nicely, but do ensure you allow to dry for a minute before applying your foundation. Acne prone girls; run away from this- FAST.

This is a difficult review to write. I'll start with saying that this primer is bomb- when it comes to priming the skin. My makeup looks smooth and flawless, it's definitely hydrating and creates a great base that holds foundation and concealer down like magic. Zero pores or texture. I haven't had issues with acne since I started using a retinoid and taking spiro about a year ago. Three weeks ago my skin looked INCREDIBLE, maybe the best it ever has....and right now it is an absolute mess. I picked this up wanting to try a new primer, and have since noticed a huge increase in zits. All different kinds of them, even the painful ones. Bare With Me primer

I have bought lots of high end primers and bought the Bear with me jjelly primer on a whim. I could not believe how smooth my foundation looked. It dries down matte, but since I wear more radiant foundations this primer acts like a solid base to grip it. I have worn it with both water and silicone based makeup and it works great with both. My foundation stays put all day without breaking up. I do have one gripe about it and it is the way it’s dispensed. It comes in the jar and I do scoop it out with my beauty spatula because a) dipping my finger in it is something I dislike and b) the consistency is a little like jello so it’s hard to control. I wish it was in a full size tube. I would just buy the travel size if I could but I can’t find it in any stores. Nyx bare with me

I absolutely LOVE this primer! I have had high end and drugstore primers and this by for has to be my favorite! It works great with all types of makeup. Skin tint, full coverage, cc creams ect.. I have oily, combo skin so I wasn't sure how this would work for me but it was absolutely beautiful on the skin and left a great gripping feeling for my makeup. And a little goes a long way for me personally. I will be repurchasing this!
