The NYX Professionals Dewy Finish Setting Spray doesn't leave you a shimmer queen and sometimes it's fun to have a lot of shimmer, don't get me wrong there! I'm just describing this as best I can! I love a nice shimmer too, but this gives more of that glowy, dewy skin that looks like it's coming from underneath, but a subtle addition! I always love to add little subtle additions when finishing make-up. Look how much we go through to prep our faces, but nobody really wants to finish them, which I get because we spend so much time prepping. Perhaps a finishing blurring powder and this setting spray in a dabbing motion (you can remove the cap and dip a sponge into it or some apparatus that will absorb and release!) Hope this helps!

Dewy GLOW

I was gifted the NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray in the Dewy Finish to try out.Initial thoughts: I’ve previously tried the Matte Finish NYX Spray which I have loved and repurchased so I was excited to try the Dewy Finish.What I liked: I wore it over the YSL all hours foundation which is a matte finish but this setting spray gave it a glowing look.What I disliked: I’m not too keen on the smell but that’s only when sprayed, it isn’t a bother after that.In future: So far i’ve worn it for 6 hours but will put the 16hours claim to the test some day.Final thoughts: The glow felt beautiful and it was definitely a Long Lasting effect.

Favorite setting spray at an affordable price!

I have been using this setting spray in addition to the new NYX freezie primer and it has been my favorite combination ever. This setting spray is so affordable and "dries" so quickly after applying. It truly does leave skin glowing and dewy which has been great for a summer look. I have skin that tends to be dry and flaky especially when layering majeup. I also have a history of cycstic acne scarring and so far this has not caused any break outs! HUGE WIN! This setting spray holds great even on hot outdoor days and 12 hour office shifts. Will absolutely be buying again!

Lasted all day on Motorcycles in 80* sun/heat

My makeup lasted all day. It was sunny and hot, but there was a nice breeze when I was riding. I was wearing a helmet. There was transfer of makeup to the inside of my helmet near hairline. But I don't think I have ever found makeup that didn't transfer into my helmet.We rode around by the beach and through town. It's Bike Week. We did stop a few times to rest. When I got home, I expected to look like a train wreck (which is pretty common on a sweaty hot day riding bikes.) IYKYK. I was stunned. Yes, I had helmet hair but my skin was flawless. Really great setting spray

Really grateful for the opportunity to try this spray. The spray comes in a nice eye catching bottle, although with the bottle being black I’m guessing it will be tricky to know how much is left when getting low but that’s minor!There is a nice light fresh scent to the spray, nothing overpowering.I have used the spray on top of my daily makeup and the bottle sprays really well. It dried fairly quickly and leaves a lovely natural glow on my skin. My makeup has stayed in place all day, and I’ve been in all the elements! Wind, rain and got very hot in the sun and my makeup is still looking fresh, love it!

The new formula is terrible.

I used to like the NYX dewy setting spray, but now I HATE it. NYX has changed the formula and now it's terrible! It doesn't give me a dewy glowy finish like it used to. It makes my skin look very oily and greasy which looks bad in pictures and in person. I also noticed that it messes up my makeup and it leaves BIG drops on my face that dry up and it creates these big spots on my face which ruins my makeup completely. I really don't like this setting spray anymore and I'll need to find something else. I wish makeup brands would stop changing the formula of fheir products!

Use certain techniques for perfection

Initially I hated this. I like to be glowy and dewy and I felt like this spray made me feel like I had just powdered my face. Then I found a new way to use it. I use it as a primer. And between my cream and powder products. I spray my sponge with it also. I’ve sprayed it before and after each layer of makeup. It’s been 100 degrees here and it’s holding up great. To achieve my glowy look I apply a light fine powder highlight then spray with this and it looks amazing
