I’ve tried a few primers and products specifically to “fill” pores and this is my go-to. It leaves my nose with a blurred look and I feel it definitively diminishes the look of my pores. I like the consistency. Yes it comes out of the tube in a weird crumbly squirt but it’s still the best I’ve tried. I don’t usually put makeup over it. It’s perfect on its own. But I sometimes have to reapply it throughout the day. So I have a few tubes (home, car, desk). I recently tried the elf poreless putty primer and it’s not what I expected and I hated it so I’m sticking with NYX.

I received this product from Butterly in exchange for a review. This pore filler by NYX is actually an amazing dupe for Benefit Cosmetic's Porefessional. The texture and feel of the product is the exact same as well! The only difference is that NYX's Pore Filler Primer is a little thicker. However, I tested both out on my own and they had the same results. There was no pilling and my skin did not feel heavy or dried out, which is fantastic! The only downside that I found is that the product container is only filled to the half way mark of the tube, so half of the tube is just air. This is probably because they made the actual packaging too large in comparison to the amount of product that it contains. Great for filling my pores!

Listen ladies, this is a great pore filling primer for large pores on your face. Do not be turned off by the consistency because it does work. Here is how I use it: I squeeze a little out on back of hand, rub a little to warm up, then apply to pores on my face next to my nose in T-zone area. My pores are huge in this area. I start rubbing it in first, then do tapping motion with other finger. I then go in with a little bit more to create a second layer on top, and tap in. You don’t need much for either layer. Has become my go to primer, love it.

This primer is great for oily skin. After applying it takes all the shine away giving you a matt look. I wear this every day along with loose transparent powder. Also, a little bit of product goes a long way. You don’t need to use a lot to see and feel a difference. The texture of the primer is different, it is not a liquid, I thought something was wrong with it the first time I had purchased it, but no that’s just how it is. I also learned that it’s better to cut the tube in half when you think your out of this primer simply because of the texture. It doesn’t all come out and you’ll be surprised how much of it is still in there.

I've been using this for years for my nose and cheek areas which have large pores. Be careful squeezing it out; but when you think it's empty, think again. Before tossing out the tube, here's what I do: Cut the bottom open and there will be a ton of product left inside.I put the tube in a plastic sealable baggy and have at least a month of product left for daily use.Anyway, I do my routine (primer\moisturizer, liquid foundation, setting powder) then remove the excess power. I then apply this. It melts right into the skin, so you really don't have clumps on your face.I then use more setting powder. But now I'm going to try something different. The Holy Grail of Primers

If I am being completely honest I was a little weirded out by the texture of this primer. As i squeezed the product out if the tube I was expecting for a liquid to come out but what i got was not liquid, and obviously it wasn't a solid either. I was like a powder mix with a bit of oil or something. Anyways it was definitely weird at first, but I decided to continue on and started to apply it to my face. It is $18 cad for 20ml but a little goes a very long way and will have no problem purchasing this again and again. This Product Could Have Potential If It Came in A Jar

I really wanted to like this product. The price is affordable and I've been happy with other NYX products I've sampled in the past. However, most of the product ended up on my bathroom counter, floor and even my clothes due to the consistency and amount of air that's in the tube. Upon my first use, when I squeezed for product to come out, it blew dry clumps of it everywhere except for on my finger where I was aiming. I thought I had a defective tube, but according to other reviews this is just the way the product is. The consistency is almost mousse like and very dry. I gave this an extra start because what little product I was actually able to use from the tube (that didn't end up on my counter, floor or clothes), I wasn't too disappointed with. The formula on this has changed over the years. It used to be a creamy, smooth product, but now it comes out in weird clumps (and sometimes sprays out like a weird, sandy volcano, and there goes a good portion down the drain [literally]). The application has gotten tricky, as the clumps sometimes stay clumpy and it takes a bit of extra work to get it on.But, it does work. It's one of the only pore filling products that actually fill my pores and doesn't clog my skin up or leave a sticky mess. The rest of my makeup goes on smoothly, and ultimately I'm happy with it. So I will begrudgingly continue to use this, and hope they change the consistency back to what it used to be.Also, a lot of product gets caught on the insides of the tube.
