This setting spray left more of a dewy look after applying to my makeup, so if that’s what you’re looking for, it does a great job at that. For those who like the more matte finish, I wouldn’t recommend this product for that. I did like that this setting spray was infused with 5 electrolytes and vitamins. This setting spray was also effective in keeping my makeup in place all day long. However, the packaging of this product could be improved because it did not spray a fine mist onto my face, but rather sprayed out in droplets, which could leave some areas on your face with more product than the rest of it.

I really enjoy using it in my every day makeup routine no matter whether it’s light makeup or heavy. I use it on my face by spraying on the sponge to blend my concealer and foundation or directly on the skin between makeup steps and at the end. I was eager to test this because I loved this brand. I’ve been having so much fun with this! I like that I can wear this without makeup because it gave my skin a lovely, radiant appearance. It has a lovely, delicate aroma and is pleasant and refreshing. My makeup does not budge for ages. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend it.

A nice setting spray, but not really "plump"!

I got this setting spray from the BH Rewards room, worth a try!The setting spray comes in the typical nyx spray packaging, it's a little bottle but that's fine as a lot of setting sprays use packaging tricks to make you think there is more!The pump is nice, and the mist is okay. Not the finest of mists, but doesn't usually spray huge globules of water on to your face!As for longevity, I never see an improvement in the wear of my makeup with sprays, so I didn't expect it with this one. It does a very nice job of making your makeup look more like SKIN and less like makeup. Bought 2 bottles & ended up giving up, tossed the 2nd

I read the reviews & really wanted this to work. I purchased the plump right back primer as well. I tried this with so many different foundations, I used them together as well as alone. I followed the instructions to the letter. I tried different skincare routines thinking maybe that's it. I wanted this to work very much. I have dry skin but I have a great skincare routine & keep my skin in excellent condition. The spray needs major work! I held it at arms length & I felt my skin being pummeled by huge droplets.1. Finally! A primer that enhances your appearance—and adheres to makeup ! I have very sensitive skin—an oily T-Zone , and dry cheeks. I use its companion primer after moisturizing, let dry—add BB cream or a skin tint— spray with either this setting spray, elf marshmallow spray, or hard candy matte. Top with powder after dry, and spray again. It lasts ALL DAY! It stayed on perfectly even when sweating, and I fell asleep 1 night without washing my face, and in the morning there was zero transfer onto linens and my light makeup still looked fresh and complete! I’ve read reviews where it is viewed as “too sticky” or tacky or drying. I use only on my tzone, which is oily, and is does feel tacky for a minute. May not be wonderful for those with very dry skin.

Plump finish spray

I ordered this on the rewards room and was excited. Nyx make very nice setting sprays and this one is nice. I'd call it more of a dewy matte finish. The formula is good and contains electrolytes for the skin. Not sure if that does much. After setting my make up I spray onto the face and it feels refreshing and sets nicely.I find it makes it a dewysoft finish . I am not sure I find much difference in the wear time of my makeup at all. It still wears the same but it does blend my makeup together and my foundation powder.My issue with this is the sprayer. It sprays out so aggressively and it comes in blobs. Not a fine or gentle mist. It's definitely hard and rough. It also foams up which is interesting on application. All the info is there, including in very tiny print the cautiin that the liquid is flammable until dry. It can be used over bare skin as a 'plumper' and over makeup to keep it looking 'fresh all day'.Product - The liquid itself is clear and odourless. When you shake it up before spraying it goes a bit frothy. 'provides up to 24-hour wear' but it does seem to reduce makeup transfer and smudging.Unfortunately it doesn't topple the other finishing spray for me as a favourite - at least until the nozzle / sprayer can put a finer spray out.I might transfer it to another sprayer incase I just got a dud one!!

Sorry NYX

I was not impressed with this product for several reasons. Firstly, I felt it was overpriced for such a small amount. Secondly, the nozzle was awful. It proceeded to eject a huge stream/splash of the product on my face. I quickly was able to remedy that by using the sprayer from an empty setting spray from a different brand. Sadly, though the worst part of this was I didn’t see any plumping benefits whatsoever. I still have almost the full product almost a year later and it says it expires after a year. 😖
