Disappointment overall in the lenses in regards to quality. They just seem cheap, easily breakable. The lenses arent complete tungsten copper color where it will block your eyes from being seen by other people. Shipping is a joke with DhL who will just transfer it to USPS after sitting on it. Oakley packages your glasses without giving a hoot. Just throw the glasses in an oversized box with no packing peanuts or even paper. Let em bounce around in there, that’s why you pay so much money right.

The black iridium lenses are great for bright/sunny days and are my go-to’s for these conditions. I haven’t noticed any distortion, which isn’t always the case with sunglasses. The frames are a pretty classic and subdued design and the matte finish keeps things even more low-key. I like it that way, but if you’re looking for something that stands out a bit more, these aren’t it. I have a medium to large head (about 59cm) and typically wear size large helmets (cycling, hockey, motorcycle). These fit my head and face well. I haven’t tried on the XL’s but I don’t feel the need to.

This particular style of Holbrook has beautiful aesthetics. I love the blue polarized/prism lense with this style of Holbrook. A nice variation of camo and black. Overall, beautiful design. My reason for four stars is comfort. The temples (arms) have a tight fit as they hug back of your ears. Slight irritation and pressure as the temples sit on the middle area of your ears near the temple tips. The temples feel as if they have serrated edges as they sit on the area. Slightly heavy. Looks like I'll need to get these adjusted or a pair of different temples all together. I ordered the regular size, not XL. Most people fit the regular size you just need adjusted temples. Just FYI for everyone.

They suggested another Oakley frame and charged me the difference. Unfortunately they did not fit my face so I had to send them back to. Finally I asked them to send me a pair of Oakley Holbrook since I already had a pair of those for a few years and I knew they fit well. For some reason the lenses are really thick and they make the glasses heavy on my face, always sliding down my nose and making them very uncomfortable . I own a pair of Costa Rincon with the 580p deep water blue lenses that I absolutely love. My new go to sunglasses are these Holebrook XL’s for my daily use. Man! The prizm P deep water lenses are amazing and have a crisp pop on color. The fit is perfect for large faces and big heads. I highly recommend both the Costa Rincon and The Holebrook XL put I have to say my new favorites are the Oakley’s.
they are pretty good sunglasses, Have a good color enhancement. Good polarization. light, you can wear them all day and no headache or scratchy nose. Only bad thing is that they scratch easily. I only have them for one week and they got scratch. I didn’t drop them or bump into something. they got scratch cleaning them. It was with a microfiber especially for cleaning glasses, and they got scratch. That is my only complain until now.

I bought the all black Holbrooks with black polarized prizm lenses about two months ago. I never write reviews but I have to for these. There's only been a few sunny days where I've been able to wear the sunglasses and they're amazing. The colors come through vibrantly and lenses cut out glare. It's almost like they're telling your eyes to see better. I feel like normal sunglasses just make everything darker, these block out sun while still providing unmatched vibrance and visibility. It's a hefty price tag, but they're great for driving, fishing, or everyday wear. If you have the money to invest in a quality pair of sunglasses, you won't be disappointed.
