Upgraded mostly for the one handed connector. Hadn’t tried in advance but slick as snot and a worthwhile upgrade. Helmet is sturdy but lightweight and the boa does a great job gripping the head itself comfortably and securely.

I usually fall between a medium and a large, so I chose to go with a large. The boa style mechanism get this thing perfectly tight without annoying pressure. Looks and feels warm!
Good looking helmet. Lower profile than the previous versions. The vents are easy to use but wish they had a few more of them. The audio pockets are a little confusing how they are designed but will see. The MIPS technology is a must.
I ordered a Large and I’m not sure why but, the front of the helmet presses into your forhead. There was nothing I could have done to prevent it. You are not supposed to wear toques under helmets and I didn’t. The helmet felt and looked so big and bulky. You wouldn’t have a fun full day out with the pressure on your forehead.
Great feeling helmet but I didn't like the shape/style on my head. It felt very deep so sat low on my brow and ears. Guess I have a shallow head! Good oval shape and great features
I purchased a medium in this helmet but I think this one has slightly less of a contour shape than Oakley helmets typically do and I had to return it due to pinching on the sides of my scalp (I typically wear M in men's ski helmets across brands). I opted for the Men's Smith Vantage instead. However, if you are a good fit in this Oakley helmet, the pricepoint is much better especially on sale and the look is sleek.
I was snowboarding this past Saturday at Ski Cooper near Leadville, Colorado. 18” of the most pristine powder you have ever seen. I hit a stump buried in the snow which caused me to fall backwards into a tree. I sustained a significant concussion and bruising on my neck and shoulder. There is now a large indentation on the exterior my helmet and no protrusion to the inside. The inner foam did exactly what it was designed to do and absorbed all of the impact - though my brain did rattle around a bit. If I weren’t wearing my Mod3 MIPS, I would likely be laying in a hospital bed or worse. It’s a mips helmet, which is exceptional in accidents. I know because I’ve hit my head in one of these, and it worked perfectly.
