Huge upgrade from the flak 2.0 that always fogged up on me while out on the trail. The only thing missing are the prizm trail torch lenses, which will be purchased soon. They fit nice under my MTB helmet and look great on. The vented lenses and added feature that pulls the frame away from your eyebrows help to keep these fog free. Extra set of nose pads are a plus. No blind spots unless you have your head down and eyes rolled up then youll see the upper part of the frame. These have been great and would recommend them as well buy they again.

I have 2 pairs of Oakley Radar EV sunglasses one with Prizm low light and the other one was with the Photochromic lense. Both are excellent! The only thing I wish they had was the ability to minimize the lense fogging during early morning rides. Then the Radar EV advancer came along. After viewing some youtube reviews, and Oakley having it on sale, I ended up getting one.Cosmetically these look great, but does it live up to the marketing claims of keeping your eyes cool and fog free? Yes and yes! When you extend the nose piece out it gives your face a good distance between your face and lense, enough to keep the fog away and let air move around. Also, I was really surprised that the nose piece was built very well the glasses does not move down my faces making me push them up from time to time even when my face is a bit sweaty during cycling. I used my Oakleys mainly for cycling and running. What one youtube reviewer recommended using these during early cycling rides was to push out the lense at the start of the ride then push back later when it gets warmer since there is less chance of the lense fogging. To me tried both ways, but I feel like the lense pushed out was such a good fit that I didn't feel the need to push the lense back in. The wind flow is great! I did notice that when facing the sun and the lense is pushed out, you will see some of your face's reflection but goes away when you push the lense back in. If I could change one thing to make this product even better is if Oakley can have a lense coating technology to minimize that reflection. I give the Oakley Ev Advancer 5 stars and recommend this for active users!

These glasses are great. The shape and size are very complementary to my face, and I welcome all of that I can get. The Trail Torch lenses are as good as I could hope for. They noticeably increase contrast. This is REALLY evident when blasting down rock gardens under the midday sun. Where before the rock looked "smoothed out," now I can see the contours and features far off into the distance. The only downside of these glasses is the big blue switch right in the middle. I might try to color it black with a Sharpie marker. I've yet to use these glasses in conditions that would fog up the lenses, so I can't comment on how we'll the flippy-switch feature works.

Fit issues make it not worth the price tag
11 August 2021

The clarity and the increased contrast from the lenses are exceptional. The built-in ventilation seems to work perfectly as I had zero fogging issues after riding multiple times in the 90+ degrees heat. That said, the overall fit is not perfect. The glasses sit too close to my eyes and causing my eyelashes to smudge the lens. Switching to the thicker nose piece helped a tiny bit but didn't fix the issue. I can of course just flip the advancer to move it away from my face but that's designed to be used temporarily to overcome fogging, plus it doesn't fit as tight and feels like it's going to fall off at the first bump.

Great for physical activity
29 October 2022

Great fit for a FAT HEAD like me. These fit great and look the same. The lenses alow more light than normal, so they work better on partly sunny days. But you can't beat Oakley's fit and comfort, especially when using them for physical activity, like cycling or jogging. I highly recommend these glasses. 👍

Great road cycling glasses
30 August 2021

These are perfect for road cycling (Prizm Road lenses). The air vents do a great job of adding some circulation behind the lens. The clarity of the lens is pretty incredible. I like the pink/rose tint to them. The lens give a great field of vision. For the most part I forget that I am wearing any sunglasses at all. Very comfortable is not a bit pricey. It's worth it though to not have to worry about your eyewear.

Phenomenal update
10 February 2020

Couple things I've come to love about the Advancers. First, the updated nose piece. It's more stable and functional compared to previous Radar type models. I have a small bridge on my nose, and this update has made the glasses perfectly stable for rough rides. Second, is the Prizm Trail Torch. I use these specifically for MTB, and with my sensitive blue eyes, I've come to enjoy the Prizm Trail Torch lens as absolutely perfect for all daytime riding conditions. The previous Trail Lens was too bright, and in open dirt riding caused color washout like crazy. I added a clear advancer lens to my order for night riding. Third, the lens design. One thing I didn't like about the previous radars, was when the larger nose piece is installed, a must for me, the field of view ... MoreCouple things I've come to love about the Advancers. This new advancer lens is absolutely perfect for the extend viewing angles. I'd rate these five stars if they were customizable, had more color options and replacement parts. Oakley's standard color ways are beyond boring at this point, most especially the black/silver and black/red. Oakley, please add these to the custom options asap:-)

Radar EV Advancer Oakley glasses
31 December 2020

So far the Radar EV Advancer's have been pretty wonderful. They have the pink hue to everything and so it makes things appear sharper. I've already played some sand volleyball with them on and that worked out great. I went for a bike ride and that worked out good too. I was a little surprised that these glasses are highly rated for riding a bike and yet there is a warning not to drive with them in the paperwork that came with the glasses. I would think riding a bike and driving a car are both things that should be able to be done with the glasses on.

These Glasses SAVED MY FACE!!
14 May 2019

I purchased a pair of custom Oakley sunglasses from in April. The next month i took a line drive in my softball game straight to the head, it hit me right over my right eye. LUCKILY I was wearing my Oakley's. They didn't break and absorbed much of the impact, which the doctors credited in preventing further injury. I was able to walk off the field with old a cut and a hairline fracture in my orbital socket. The doctors said i could have lost my eye or had to have reconstructive surgery. But instead I was back playing the next week. These sunglasses save me from months of pain and costly medical care. they are well worth the price I was highly recommend getting yourself a pair if you play baseball or softball!!!!

Very satisfied .
13 December 2022

I have 3 pairs of Field Jackets and really appreciate the anti fog ability of the advancer nosepiece . I always wanted a lense that adjusts to sunlight and am happy with the Photochromic lenses. Lense adjusts faster than my Julbos, too.
