Awesome pair of glasses

By far my favorite pair of sunglasses ever! The vision through the lens is incredible - the color and vividness is superior to other glasses. I was a little worried they would bother me because they were a little tight when I tried them on in the store. After wearing them a few weeks, they are still a little tight - but it doesn’t bother me nor give me a headache. The tightness actually is nice because the stay on my face when exercising. I’ve tried them on my bike, walking, and running and have not had any issues nor have they fallen off.

Disappointed with prescription lenses.

My first impression was of disappointment, I thought that sunglasses in prescription lenses would have been the whole lens not just two small ovals. Also those lenses were of a different color shade to the rest of the lens, so they just looked out of place. I think further iterations of these should consist of the whole lens being prescription. Due to them not, I have returned them and will not be purchasing any products from Oakley again.

Good frames but Prizm is lacking.

Prizm Road Black looks like they'd be TOO violet/rose, but once they're on, the tint is barely noticeable. They're pleasant to look through and there is very very little distortion. But like others have said, these DO seem to let in more light than you'd expect so they're not going to be a favorite in bright conditions. They're a good everyday color option for those who don't want the more eye catching Oakley colors. Thanks to the arm design, the Radar EV frames stay on securely even though they're too wide for me. ( I almost purchased the XS version but the lens selection for the XS is pitiful - Oakley doesn't even make pitch lenses for them !!! ) Now on to the not-so-great....The Prizm effect is super subtle ( nonexistent ? ) on these. But there was no difference. At first I thought maybe the red and green streetlights were highlighted along with the children crossing signs. But when I did the same route in less expensive brown suglasses I had the same experience. Even my cheapie gray sunglasses seem to allow the red and green streetlights and school crossing signs to remain brighter. So....no difference. I just don't notice any prizm effect at all with Road Black.

Great for Softball
16 November 2022

We bought these for our daughter for softball. Her old glasses were causing too much eye strain with the amount of light coming through and also bounced when she ran. She's only had these for a couple of weeks, but she's noticed a huge difference on the field. She's plays middle infield, outfield and third, so we needed something that handled the contrast in both grass and dirt. These are doing the trick. She's also finding they're helping when she's at the plate since it's easier to focus on tracking the ball to the bat.

Great looking and very functional.

The Radar EV Path are awesome, looks and functionality. I bought them primarily for running. I love how the lens extends around your peripheral, exactly what I was looking for. They sit on my head well and feels very secure. My only gripe is the tint isn’t as radiant and doesn’t have the dual spectrum as shown in the picture, I don’t see any hint of purple/violet.

Great sunglasses
11 July 2023

Honestly I have no complaints. They feel high quality, feel durable, and look awesome. The finish is clean and the polarization makes sunny days much more manageable for my eyes. The only thing someone might have a problem with is that when you wear them it makes everything have a reddish color but once you wear them for a while it becomes unnoticable.

MY personal BEST Sunglasses EVER
6 January 2021

I have had my Radar EV Path glasses for about 12 months now. I got the Deep Water Poloarized lens and they have been wonderful in every aspect. I've worn them fishing (inshore, but they work fine). I wear a tie to work every day (finance) and I've tried to find suitable 'work' glasses since I got these. The blue lens (my wife says) doesn't look that good with dress clothes. The thing that is BEST for me about these glasses is the nose piece - no plastic touches my nose AT ALL - and I have an old break in my nose that hurts after awhile with a lot of sunglasses. This nose piece is the best I've ever tried. The ear pieces on the Radar EV's are also amazing, I've never had any slipage, ever. No matter if I'm running, on the boat in 100 degree weather...anything, they ... MoreI have had my Radar EV Path glasses for about 12 months now. No matter if I'm running, on the boat in 100 degree weather...anything, they have never slipped. Never hurt my nose, and they fit UNDER a ball cap perfectly.I tried the Split shot - they rubbed my eyelashes and after about an hour, they hurt my nose a little... it was just distracting to have my eyelashes rub the lenses.I tried the Cross Range - they were billed as more "suitable" for dress...and I suppose they are, but they still rub my nose with plastic...the unobtanium is there...but it's not THERE like the Radar EV's.Finally, I just said the heck with it - and I bought another pair of the Radar EV's with a black lens and matte black frame. Suit / dress glasses DONE, I'm happy. I have found my glasses for my personal best use. I got over $400 in 2 pairs....but I know they will last.I have an old pair of our son's Radar's that he had playuing HS baseball. They are about 10-12 years old and I use them to mow the yard but they don't fit my adult face right. They have scratches and lot of wear marks being that a teen used them constantly about year round...but they are still good and I wear them to mow. The Radar Frames are tough for sure.I also like how they sit on my head - ball cap or not.

Not for me...
27 March 2020

After weeks of research and driving around to try on different styles of Oakleys, I thought I had found the best pair for me. I knew that in order to Rx this pair it would have a “funky” appearance, which they do and I don’t mind (nor does it effect the quality or performance of the prescription).I am not happy with the “flat feeling” they have when worn. During a run or on a ride I find that they do not sit well on my nose, leaving it almost impossible to have in a comfortable position. This is unfortunate, as I am more focused on my glasses than the activity.I was also disappointed that when they arrived they were not the color scheme advertised. I thought I would be getting a matte black with black Oakley “O”. Instead, I received matte black with a red “O”. I know that something superficial like this shouldn’t/ doesn’t matter, but it’s just a slight bummer when you try to take great care in choosing the right product and it doesn’t look or feel they way you though it would.I probably will not order from sportRx in the future. Though everyone seemed friendly and the videos online helpful, it felt like a bumpy ride to get to where I am at. Two star for those efforts. Still disappointed.

Prescription Radars fail.
12 October 2022

The prescription lens sections are the same as the smaller frame style glasses so not only look ridiculous, but they also don't provide the vision needed as a cyclist. Serious cycling has your head down so I am having to look over the cript. section which sucks if alone and having to ride upright if in a pack, zero advantage. Shelfing these glasses, will use them here and there since I own them but not for their intended propose. Prescription needs to fit the lens size much better or stop.

fragile but clear
20 December 2019

First off, over the last 15 years I've bought pretty much every type of oakley product under the sun: standard, prizm, polarized, and polarized prizm lenses. The polarized prizm lenses are very fragile, way more than an expensive pair of glasses should be. I take very good care of them, dont use any foreign cleaners, and only wipe with the bag theyre provided in. I treat them the same as the other 3 types of lenses they make. After about 3 years owning them and only using them about once every other month when I golf the lenses were eroding from the inside. I took them to an oakley store and they said it can happen to any of their lenses when they are in contact with foreign substances such as sunscreen or hair product. I took them to an oakley store and they said it can happen to any of their lenses when they are in contact with foreign substances such as sunscreen or hair product. I thought that was pretty ridiculous since most of the time I'm wearing sunglasses Im also wearing sunscreen because its sunny out. I dont wear hair product but some people do and rest sunglasses on their head while inside. Before this happened they are fantastic lenses. I would say their prizm technology is better than polarized glasses and when you combined them its perfect. Just keep in mind how fragile they are even when they dont get scratched. I bought polarized prizm replacement lenses because of how clear and high quality they are and I'll try to make sure I dont wear sunscreen around them anymore. The only other brand I've tried is ray-ban and they dont even come close to oakley. I'm disappointed in the durability but the clarity is unmatchedPS: especially around the holidays if youre ordering with 2 day shipping and expecting to actually receive them in 2 days dont get your hopes up. I chose 2 day shipping when i ordered on saturday and they didnt even leave the warehouse until wednesday. It wasnt the shipping company's fault because they delivered it in 2 days when they actually received it. If i place an order on saturday morning I expect it to leave the warehouse first thing on monday at the latest.
