By far my favorite pair of sunglasses ever! The vision through the lens is incredible - the color and vividness is superior to other glasses. I was a little worried they would bother me because they were a little tight when I tried them on in the store. After wearing them a few weeks, they are still a little tight - but it doesn’t bother me nor give me a headache. The tightness actually is nice because the stay on my face when exercising. I’ve tried them on my bike, walking, and running and have not had any issues nor have they fallen off.

Prizm Road Black looks like they'd be TOO violet/rose, but once they're on, the tint is barely noticeable. They're pleasant to look through and there is very very little distortion. But like others have said, these DO seem to let in more light than you'd expect so they're not going to be a favorite in bright conditions. They're a good everyday color option for those who don't want the more eye catching Oakley colors. Thanks to the arm design, the Radar EV frames stay on securely even though they're too wide for me. ( I almost purchased the XS version but the lens selection for the XS is pitiful - Oakley doesn't even make pitch lenses for them !!! ) Now on to the not-so-great....The Prizm effect is super subtle ( nonexistent ? ) on these. I just don't notice any difference between Prizm Road Black and non-prizm lenses. I expected to see a difference in street markings and signs because thats how these 'road' lenses are marketed. But there was no difference. At first I thought maybe the red and green streetlights were highlighted along with the children crossing signs. But when I did the same route in less expensive brown suglasses I had the same experience. Even my cheapie gray sunglasses seem to allow the red and green streetlights and school crossing signs to remain brighter. So....no difference. I just don't notice any prizm effect at all with Road Black.

I got photochromic glasses as I ride fast and night as I'm a shift worker. That being the case I didn't want to be constantly changing lenses. This fit my requirements, but they are rather expensive. They still fog up a bit on cold mornings but definitely no as much or often as the cheaper brand they replaced. They came in a nice case that included a different sized nose piece. Surprisingly though there was no cleaning cloth.

Fast delivery as usual from Golfbox! These are excellent glasses with respect to colour, glare, uv protection, fit and comfort. On the negative, I looked like a speed dealer and almost got kicked off the course. Also missed 3 putts from less than 1 metre, which was obviously the fault of these glasses and not the user. Just kidding…. great glasses that made people mistake me for Ricky Fowler.
We bought these for our daughter for softball. Her old glasses were causing too much eye strain with the amount of light coming through and also bounced when she ran. She's only had these for a couple of weeks, but she's noticed a huge difference on the field. She's plays middle infield, outfield and third, so we needed something that handled the contrast in both grass and dirt. These are doing the trick. She's also finding they're helping when she's at the plate since it's easier to focus on tracking the ball to the bat.
Have been using the Oakley Radar EV Path for quite few rides now, and I can say they are fantastic! The fit is perfect - is very light, and rests nicely all around. The visibility is just great! My rides usually start around 6 am, and while they aren’t really recommended at that time, I end up wearing them because the roads I ride are well lit with street lamps. The visibility range is excellent, and one doesn’t need to strain the neck to get a glimpse of the sides. It also seems to handle the sweat creeping down from the forehead nicely - haven’t encountered fogging of any kind even when I am sweating continuously. Overall, it is a great pair of sunglasses, not just for cycling, but for any outdoor activity.
I've worn Radar EV for about 3 years now with the Path lens. It is an exceptional frame overall, but I recently updated to a Prizm Black Pitch lens. I've decided that both are wonderful lenses, but Pitch has a cleaner look to it, and definitely helps with eliminating sunlight or glare coming up from the bottom of the lens. I've found myself using the Pitch lens much more. The straight cut on the bottom of the lens really looks good, especially with a hat! It's more of a personal preference, so you can decide. But, I highly recommend choosing the Pitch lens option. And all though the Path lens has also served we very well for years now, I am liking the look and feel of the Pitch more.
The prescription lens sections are the same as the smaller frame style glasses so not only look ridiculous, but they also don't provide the vision needed as a cyclist. Serious cycling has your head down so I am having to look over the cript. section which sucks if alone and having to ride upright if in a pack, zero advantage. Shelfing these glasses, will use them here and there since I own them but not for their intended propose. Prescription needs to fit the lens size much better or stop.
These glasses are awesome. I bought them specifically for beach volleyball which they function very well at. At of my previous glasses had the risk of falling off during an aggressive movement. These don’t budge and the field of view is amazing. The frames are also so lightweight that you barely feel them. I think the lightweight helps them stay on as well. On top of that PRIZM technology is probably what most of the cost goes toward. Fake Oakleys would like fit and feel just well but it is questionable whether fake lens can improve the clarity of what you see as well. I have non PRIZM Oakleys and these Radar EV lenses create a noticeably improved image. My head is medium large, 58 in motorcycle helmet size. Oval.
First off, over the last 15 years I've bought pretty much every type of oakley product under the sun: standard, prizm, polarized, and polarized prizm lenses. The polarized prizm lenses are very fragile, way more than an expensive pair of glasses should be. I take very good care of them, dont use any foreign cleaners, and only wipe with the bag theyre provided in. I treat them the same as the other 3 types of lenses they make. After about 3 years owning them and only using them about once every other month when I golf the lenses were eroding from the inside. I took them to an oakley store and they said it can happen to any of their lenses when they are in contact with foreign substances such as sunscreen or hair product. After about 3 years owning them and only using them about once every other month when I golf the lenses were eroding from the inside. I took them to an oakley store and they said it can happen to any of their lenses when they are in contact with foreign substances such as sunscreen or hair product. I thought that was pretty ridiculous since most of the time I'm wearing sunglasses Im also wearing sunscreen because its sunny out. I dont wear hair product but some people do and rest sunglasses on their head while inside. Before this happened they are fantastic lenses. I would say their prizm technology is better than polarized glasses and when you combined them its perfect. Just keep in mind how fragile they are even when they dont get scratched. I bought polarized prizm replacement lenses because of how clear and high quality they are and I'll try to make sure I dont wear sunscreen around them anymore. The only other brand I've tried is ray-ban and they dont even come close to oakley. I'm disappointed in the durability but the clarity is unmatchedPS: especially around the holidays if youre ordering with 2 day shipping and expecting to actually receive them in 2 days dont get your hopes up. I chose 2 day shipping when i ordered on saturday and they didnt even leave the warehouse until wednesday. It wasnt the shipping company's fault because they delivered it in 2 days when they actually received it. If i place an order on saturday morning I expect it to leave the warehouse first thing on monday at the latest.
