I was looking for a lightweight pair of sunglasses I could wear for all outdoor running. These are amazing. No bounce, and the frames stay pretty set on my face. I might make 1-2 small adjustments per mile, and that’s mostly due to a hat pushing them around. Superb lens & great fit. . Purchased the specifically for mountain bike riding. Had another pair of Oakleys (shallow water lens) that were a bit too dark when going under the canopy. The The trail torch is true to its name and brings the trail to life in half shade lighting, yet still protects your eyes going down open areas at speed.Good fit in a full face helmet too!They came with a sturdy case.Overall like them a lot

The smaller frame suits my face much better than the standard sutro and looks better too. The pink based lens is not particularly dark so works better in the mornings and afternoons but is quite a pleasant tint. Replacement lenses are expensive.

These specs are exactly what I'm looking for when I snowboard (spring days), stand up paddle board, mtb, (insert sportsing activity here). They're also stylish enough to wear in casual settings.The frames are lightweight and sturdy. It barely feels like they're on. Prizm technology is so good at clarity and enhancing detail. I don't miss polarized tech at all in these.Just pay attention to the VLT each lens provides because there are some that are made for less bright conditions.
All the other Oakley Sutro’s I tried would fall off my face and bounce around so I was stoked when I found the sutro S. the stay in place and are a super comfortable fit. For reference I’m an average sized woman (5’6” 130lbs) with an average sized ladie’s head (Medium Smith helmet usually) and wanted full coverage frames for mountain biking and a good interface with my helmet. These do the job very well and of course the premium Prizm lenses are always awesome.
I have experienced a considerable increase in visibility since I changed to Oakley yellow goggles. Don't fall for any hype from cheap goggles. Get the real deal. Get Oakleys, and you will maintain a safer ride.
Coming from a lifelong Julbo user - while I enjoyed the look of Julbo Fury and the photochromic abilities, the torch trail lens on Sutro is incredible for mountain biking. The detail and contrast of rock features that the lens provides, is priceless. Happy with the purchase, returning the Julbo Fury.
I bought these over a month ago and have been so impressed with their performance. I had another online brand before which have the same title as the greek Helios, they where of worse material, uncomfortable and I would always get red eyes from where they didnt protect me from the wind.Since having my Sutro S, not once have I had red eyes and on many occasions I have actually forgotten that I am wearing them. They are that comfortable.Would recommend over and over. Only criticism is that some other brand come with an interchangeable clear lens.
LOVE THEM! Oakley lenses are hands down THE BEST for visibility. When I put them on everything gets clearer and brighter. It's like I see better but there's no prescription! Besides the lenses the frame are light, comfortable and fit my face perfectly. Hands down the best.
Bough this and Julbo Fury Reactive. Returned Julbo kept this. As much as I love Julbo and their technology I felt that the Sutro Dirt lens was just so excellent at picking up the trail features, I couldn't not get it. They aren't as stylish as the Fury, but.. ehh, the glass is perfect.
