Very disappointed Oates have designed and promoted a fundamentally flawed product. The bristles of the brush are not of sufficient length, the sides of the dustpanare higher than the height of the brush bristles. The resulting poor design causing the brush handle to be blocked from making satisfactory sweeping action of contents into the dustpan.

I bought this two weeks ago to replace the Sabco because the dustpan had severely cracked. The dustpan is excellent and the brush is good, except for one design flaw. The offset on the handle puts the centre line of the brush at an odd angle when you go to use it. The product is well made for the price, but that handle spoils it. I recommend that you try it yourself before you buy.

Bought one of these and could you believe my surprise when I found the label stickers were effectively glued to the dustpan. Ripping them causing a sticky mess of paper, now left with a shovel that has a permanent sticky area that of course renders the product useless because dust and dirt gets stuck. Everyone knows this feeling. The world has moved on now since quality brands use easily removable labels. My shock was that a big name like Oates doesn't care. I sent some feedback through their company forms and they didn't even feel fit to send an automatic reply. Customer care zero. I now actively not so much as buy a kitchen sponge if the Oates ones are on special. If you hate unremovable sticky labels I found Sabco products a better option.
I brought this for quick cleanups after drilling etc. in accommodation suites.
