I originally wanted to get proper flax linen bedding because I wanted a more environmentally sound alternative to cotton sheets (I got a new bed and my old sheets don't fit). The reviews all raved about how "butter soft" the sheets are, but when I went to a store to feel then, they felt kind of unimpressive. Rough, even. But I got them anyway and am soooo glad I did.I've had them for a bit over a month now, and its hard to explain how they feel. They ARE soft, but not smooth like Egyptian cotton. But they seem to breathe so, SO much better! They are soft and cool when you get in, but not chilly. They are warm and soft and cosy... without ever getting clingy or damp-feeling like my old cotton sheets. Despite some awful humid heatwaves, I, for once, have not woken up in sweat-damp sheets.They are more finicky to dry (washing them on the gentle cold setting is not any harder than the warm setting), because I cant just stick them in the dryer. But all that has made me want to do is buy a second set in case its too rainy to dry the sheets in one day. I'm such a convert to flax linen that I'm trying to find clothing made from it too.Also, the fitted sheet fits perfect to my mattress, despite my mattress being one of those absurdly thick ones that they make these days.

These sheets are so lovely to sleep within. I love the Color it goes so beautifully with my lavender cover and my pink clay cover. I really find the texture very comfortable to sleep on. During the hot summer months these sheets are perfect for using without a doona. Highly recommend.

I already own the quilt in the oatmeal and was very excited to receive the matching bed sheets. They go with everything and make your bedroom dreamy and lush. I own three sets of bed linen from Bed Threads, and some are slightly different. The white flat sheet I got in a King size (for my queen bed) and the hemming is about 1.5-2inches all the way around. The second sheets I got in terracotta but in the queen flat sheet and the hem was a basic 1cm all around. This time I got the King size in the oatmeal and was very happy to receive them with the larger hem. I’m not sure if the hemming changes with the colour or the size of the sheet set. Wash three times for the perfect softness. They take no time to dry too, even in winter.

This is most definitely not an issue I've encountered with either of my sheets. They wash up a dream, hang outside to air dry, and are an absolute pleasure to sleep in. Both my husband and I have sensitive skins, and neither of us has endured any sleepless nights in these sheets. Perhaps the biggest draw card for me is that they are super strong! It's a great comfort knowing that they're a thicker quality than many of the other brands I've tried in the past, and the elastic is much thicker, more durable and holds the fitted sheet securely in place. Amazing sheets in all seasons. Wash up well, easy to dry and care for and get softer over time. We’ve ditched all other sheets even the flannelette and only have these now. We feel a bit special climbing into these every night but since we are in them 1/3 of the day, they are worth it! Excellent all round everyday sheet with a luxurious touch.
I bought this sheet to replace one of a different brand that had completely worn through in a relatively short time. That one was super scratchy until it had been washed many times and would stretch and sag on the bed. My Bed Threads replacement arrived soft already, keeps its shape on the bed and is just 1000 times nicer to use. Because I chose a dark colour, I expected some colour run when I washed it, but none at all! I had been hesitant about buying from Bed Threads, but I will be a repeat shopper.
