These Are all well understood in a game that was want to be exactly what fans asked for. A Fianle... Fun, fast paced, heavily varied, and plenty to do. "Army of one" The time structure can impede some people from wanting the game but I say if you want a challenge this is a perfect opportunity to see what you can do...the worlds ending can you save their souls?

Probably my JRPG of the year for 2023. The battle mechanics, boss fights and in-game music are what JRPG fans look for in a S-class JRPG. Solid game and will be ecstatic to purchase Octopath 3 in the future since the game seems to have sold really well.
Everything you want from old school RPG with updated graphics, a simple yet fun/engaging battle system, and better variation of main characters with focused + joined stories. Much better than the first game within the first 3-4 hours. I wouldnt be surprised if it ends up on 2023 games of year lists.
If you played the first game, this is a must buy and play. Very fun turn based jrpg that improves on almost everything from the first game. The graphics are very charming in the 2d HD style and look great on my LG Oled tv. My only complaint with this game so far is that there is no beastiary to review in the game.
Such a solid improvement over the original Switch title which I found to be one of the best games out there. Improved graphics, animations, menus. New crossover paths with deeper interactions with the characters. New power features and so much more. Play this game.

Each track in the game fits perfectly with every scenario and situation. The orchestral accompaniment to the gameplay supplements the player’s experience. The prominent use of strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion complement each track well. Whether it is exploring different areas of the map, character themes, or battle themes, the soundtrack is a banger. I enjoy listening to Critical Clash 2 (One of the boss themes). It’s so hype, especially when it seamlessly transitions from the character’s theme and into the boss battle. Octopath Traveler does the best at this with its OST. The OST slaps harder than a critical hit with a 4x boost. Overall, I throughly love the music.Overall, Octopath Traveler II deserves a 10/10. This is a must buy and play. I highly recommend this game to fans of JRPGs and the first game.
One of the greatest modern day turn-based RPGs. Offers pretty good value with many hours of gameplay and gorgeous visuals. If you like the original then you will definitely like the sequel and if you've never played the first one you can jump into this just fine. It stands on its own.
