They have a very nice supple feel and are not too sticky or squishy of a grip; with good vibration dampening properties. Had a hand injury which required fingers to be pinned to heal properly and are super sensitive to the vibration when riding roots & rocks on our eastern single track. These Reflex grips definitely do the job. Able to do longer rides without pain. Ended up getting two pair for my hardtail and full suspension rigs.

Soft grip keeps hands from sweating without gloves. Comfortable. Ends are fragile and are already starting to come apart from placing bike on the ground and minor crashes. Probably need to replace yearly if you ride and crash alot. Had to use hot glue to bond tears at the edge of the grip.

The ODI Reflex XL MTB grips were an online recommendation that have lived up to the hype. A great grip with much better comfort and feel than the OEM grips on a new bike from a mainstream manufacturer. Easy to fit and adjust. Clearly labelled. Good value from biketart with quick delivery. Very happy so far.

I was looking for a set of grips which were more comfortable than my factory grips; these are a huge improvement and I like the various textures and lines which seem to help keep my hands from sliding while also cushioning. They solved my issue of slipping off the grips, but they still seem a bit skinny.I have also had issues with them rotating and I have tightened them down pretty tight. If they did not have a particular orientation for my hand to sit, this would not be much of an issue, but it is annoying when it rotates and does not line up with my fingers. They are not going to go sliding off easily, but they do seem to rotate.
First and foremost, I am just a big fan of ODI, I have pretty much always used the Rogues due to the size and comfort. I saw these new Reflex so I was curious to try them, and I am not disappointed. They are grippy but not overly, they are soft, but not overly, but what I like the most at least for me, they are not to skinny, I have big hands which is why I liked the Rogue, but these are a bit smaller thickness wise but they are actually a really good in between size.
Got these grips in the mail today and put them on my mountain bike. Easy to install and very comfortable. Light. Singular clamp is holding well. Outer end of the grip is capped with the same soft grip material so it won't scratch my car like my last grips. Great handle. I think these will be my new favorites if they last.
Alright so I'm half and half on these. The sell on these for me was the "helps lessen hand fatigue" or at least try's to, which I respect and was really hoping would be the case, but come on now, If your hands fall asleep/numb/tingle while you ride they are still going to do it whatever grip you have. I will say the extra mm of cushion and soft rubber does help slightly in the fatigue area or at least has the feel like it's supposed to, but I'm not sure it's enough to matter. Also soft rubber tends to wear and break faster, especially on the ends. These have such a tall tread/grip that they give your hand some twist movement at full grip/squeeze on the bars which I guess is probably part of the fatigue sell as it acts like hand suspension in a way, it just takes a ... MoreAlright so I'm half and half on these. Also I think it helps grip with wet/sweaty hands if you don't wear gloves. Now I've only been gripping these grips for about a month and recently raced them in our xc and enduro (little over 20 miles up and down) we hold here in Alaska and I felt pretty confident with them. Then again I would hope so for $30 a pair. I've ridden maybe 7 other grips and always wear them all the way down because eventually you can throw on some gloves and grip just fine for the most part. So I guess I will send out another review when the time comes to change them out.So I guess my only true gripe is grip/bar ends falling apart to easily. I mean who doesn't set there bike on its side or hit a tree every once in a blue moon(or every dang ride).
I wear a size XL in gloves and the size of these grips are good. They have good dampening qualities to them along with good grip especially without gloves on. My only and biggest gripe with the grip is the pattern of the grip is the same for the left one and right one. The catch is that the grip has a weird pattern of angles rather than straight lines. So since there isn't a left and right specific side for the grip they feel different in each hand which bothers me.
ODI makes good quality products, but the Reflex XL grips didn`t work out for me. I already owned a pair of ODI Rogue grips and that`s what I went back to. I think the Reflex XL grips looks really sharp, but functionally the Rogue grips are way more comfortable for me. Most of the ODI grips are pricey, but a reasonable value when you manage to select the correct grip for you!
I've been riding ODI Rogues for a few years but these thinner Reflex grips are less of a handful but just as comfortable. I have the Reflex on an E-bike and the ODI on two different acoustic bikes.
