OGX extra strength Biotin and collagen conditioner has brought my hair back to life! This lightweight creamy conditioner saturates my midshaft and ends beautifully, leaving my hair silky smooth and airy with amazing body. After shampooing with OGX Biotin and collagen shampoo, I wring my hair out of access water, then slightly towel dry for max absorption. The conditioner is very lightly scented with a light purple hue that I welcome, as it tones my hair slightly and makes it appear brighter. Each strand of my hair feels like it's strengthened and youthful. I can not stop running my hands through my ends they feel like silk. I definitely recommend this conditioner along with its partnering shampoo to take limp, lifeless hair back to bouncy and beautiful.

This conditioner is not safe to put on your scalp it contains so many chemicals that causes so many allergies and irritation. It triggers eczema and several forms of dermatitis affecting the face and neck, including ocular effects. Allergies could be caused by cocamidopropyl betaine itself or by amines, impurities resulting from its manutacture. Quaternium is often used as a substitute for silicones in "silicone-free" products. These substances are irritating and may cause contact dermatitis, for example. They may also have an allergenic aspect, but there are not yet any studies on the matter. They are also nearly non- biodegradable and pollute the oceans. This ingredient is a PEG; these substances currently present no real health danger, but they may have irritating effects when used in large quantities. Moreover, during the formation of PEGs, residues like ethylene oxide are produced. Ethylene oxide is a very dangerous gas for human health (neurotoxic, irritating, and carcinogenic). The residual content of this impurity is controlled, but traces may remain. PEGs may also increase the uptake of other substances and support other chemical compounds. It is therefore recommended to avoid using this type of component on damaged or fragile skin (particularly in children younger than 3 years old, whose skin is highly permeable). Finally, the process of ethoxylation, which allows PEGs to form, is extremely polluting. PEGs are also not biodegradable. They remain in the environment, where they may be ingested by other organisms. Propylene glycol is a humectant and a solvent that's widely used in cosmetics. It can be of petrochemical or of plant origin. Although considered "generally safe" by the FDA in the United States and not harmful by the ECHA in Europe, it can nevertheless cause allergic reactions in certain sensitive people who might then develop dermatitis. Eye and skin irritation have also been reported in some studies. When it's derived from petrochemicals, the way in which it's obtained is extremely harmful to the environment. And lastly, its environmental biodegradation may require oxygen, thus affecting oxygen concentrations in receiving waters with potential effects on aquatic life. Behentrimonium chloride This quaternary ammonium ingredient is restricted in cosmetics due to its high irritancy. It can cause contact dermatitis, for example. Some cases of allergies have also been reported. Quaternary ammonium compounds are also nearly non- biodegradable, and they pollute oceans.

I used to buy OGX products a hundred years ago when they were still called "Organyx". This was one of the products I had used/rotated back then and then I went off on total no-poo territory for a long time. I currently use clean-ish shampoo brands. Lately, due to stress and some nutritional deficiencies, my hair has been looking limp, lackluster and awful. For context, I have low density hair but it is generally thick, wavy and big. It was really bothering me so I caved and bought this product - I normally veer away due to too many ingredients and heavy scents. TL;DR First off, this product does, while artificial, have a very pleasant scent. And it still smells exactly the same as it did so many moons ago! And no garbage, I saw results instantaneously. I don't normally buy into product claims but this product has been genuinely helpful to me. I do recommend this if you need a volume boost at a somewhat reasonable price.

When it comes to hair care, sometimes the key to healthy and luscious tresses is all about conditioning. The OGX Biotin and Collagen Conditioner is a perfect example of this. With its nourishing and hydrating formula, it's a must-have for anyone who wants to add some serious moisture and shine to their hair. Upon using the conditioner, I was impressed with how quickly it worked to add hydration and softness to my hair. The biotin and collagen combination seemed to work wonders at strengthening my hair and making it feel incredibly soft and smooth. One thing I really appreciated about this conditioner was the fact that it didn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy. Instead, it left it feeling soft, smooth, and ready to take on the day. It's important to note that I have thick hair, and this conditioner didn't weigh it down at all, which is something that I haven't always experienced with other conditioners in the past. As a side bonus, the shampoo and conditioner also have a light vanilla scent that left my hair smelling deliciously sweet without being overpowering. I'd say this is the perfect conditioner for anyone looking to add some much-needed moisture and shine to their hair, especially if you have thick hair that requires more nourishment than most. I definitely plan on keeping it in my hair care routine!

The promises of this line, would be a dream come true!! I will finish the bottles to see the final verdict! But so far I can say that it has added body to my flat, dull hair. For reference.. my hair used to be down to my bum. I cut over 11 inches off, so now it's a little past my tshirt neck line (regular plain Tshirt) . I cut my hair off due to how much I was loosing and how dry it was. (I tried everything I possibly could to save it ) I started accutane/isotretinoin months ago, I am currently in Month 5. But it has caused A LOT Of fall out, dryness, and thinning hair. I have been using a higher end hydrating hair line but, I am always willing to give things a try! Especially if it will help my poor hair! I would recommend this product due to the way it has added ... MoreThe promises of this line, would be a dream come true!! I have been using a higher end hydrating hair line but, I am always willing to give things a try! Especially if it will help my poor hair! I would recommend this product due to the way it has added body that was before, non-existent! As for it being thicker I am unsure of that, but from my opinion the ingredients arent bad at all! My hair is very soft and it's doing nothing but benefiting my hair in some way or another! The smell is a little strong but that's fine with me, I like to be able to smell my products on day 2 and 3 lol However, I think if it weren't for the accutane this would be an amazing line for dry, thin, and brittle hair. The medication is making me extremely dry, but I can say that this line has definitely added hydration as well! SO IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS ON ACCUTANE/ISOTRETINOIN, THIS IS A LINE I WOULD RECOMMEND TO THEM!

Okay so, I waited a week before reviewing to ensure I was able to form an honest opinion. To start, I’d just like to say that I’m so happy the scent to this shampoo and conditioner was changed! I remember smelling it in the store one day and not being able to stand how strong it was. The smell now is very light and enjoyable. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling so clean and soft! I haven’t noticed any build up issues on my scalp and my hair is honestly less oily than usual, I haven’t had to wash my hair as much which I love! I was also dealing with severe hair loss, to the point where I was beyond clogging my drain after every shower. In just one week I’ve noticed I’m losing less with every wash! MAJOR HAIR LOSS!
2 September 2023

Most of the reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. I've been looking for a sulfate and paraben free shampoo that will give my hair volume. I wash my hair every 2 - 3 days and take good care of it. On the second use, I noticed a shocking amount of hair on my hands as I rinsed out the comditioner!! Thinking it might have been stress related, I used the shampoo and conditioner a third time. More hair fell out!!But the kicker was when my son decided to use the set after seeing the extra bottles in the hall closet. He yelled out from the shower and sticks his hand out with a clump of hair, and said, "Mom, look!!" Needless to say, I returned all 4 bottles the next day!! I worked so hard to stop the shed, and this horrible shampoo/conditioner was undoing ... MoreMost of the reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. i am not at all impressed with this shampoo and conditioner. i have veey long curly hair. after reading several reviews i thought i would try it. its safe to say people sell their souls to the devil, meaning you cant trust reviews collected as part of a promotion because its nithing but lies. incould believe how much shampoo i had to use to get my hair sudsy. at this rate i will be buying more shampoo by the end of the week. the shampoo was not cheap and the bottle isnt very big so to have to use thqt much shampoo was ridiculous. my hair is not soft by any means. what a waste of over 20 bucks between shampoo, conditioner, and the so called " curlying cream". will not purchase again.

Previous formula was great- this new one is No Goo
12 October 2023

I have been using this conditioner and the shampoo for years, it did wonders for my thinning hair. It helped the volume, and made it stronger with little to no hair loss after shampooing and conditioning. The last bottle of conditioner I bought, I notice is a thinner product, and a darker color than it was originally. I compared ingredients from my old bottle to this newer version and it is not the same product. I used it for the first time and am very, very disappointed. My sink was full of hair from using a wide hair pick, and it has no volume like it had before with the previous formula. My hair looks flat and very thin. Took a long time to find conditioner that worked and now I am starting over looking for another brand. So let down. I do not recommend it.

I love OGX products, but after reading up on DMDM I decided to stop using products that contain it- which includes the OGX coconut milk line I've been using for years. I'm currently 3 months postpartum and struggling with painful scalp and hairloss. I need to be very gentle with my scalp. I carefully reviewed the other OGX products and came across this biotin collagen blend that does NOT contain DMDM. I already take biotin and collagen supplements and I know they are essential for my hair health. So I was cautiously optimistic trying this. First impression: It smells wonderful. Has a light purple color that helps tone down the brassiness in my dyed auburn hair. Moisturized my hair from root to tip without weighing it down. Left my hair feeling stronger and thicker after one wash. I didn't apply any other serums or foams to my hair after using this. I combed then went about my day while my hair air-dried. 12 hours later it's still smooth and tangle free. That says a lot considering I spent half my day outside in dry winter Colorado air. As long as my scalp still feels relatively clean tomorrow, I'll give this 5 stars. Based on my experience today I'll probably use this at least twice a week and I'll scoop up the bigger bottle when I find it in the store.
