I have tried other OGX products and have truly enjoyed them, however I found this specific scent to be far from the truth from that statement. The scent itself smells great. However, there’s one major issue. When using this, it gave me extremely painful cystic back acne. I know this product is to blame because when I swapped the shampoo and conditioner out and went back to my usual brand the issue went away after a few weeks and no other changes to my routine. *i meant to give this only 1 star, i can’t figure out how to change it. The first thing I notice is the sweet, tropical coconut smell. It isn’t too strong but will linger on the hair after washing. The shampoo itself lathers up nicely and easily rinses out. I used the matching conditioner as well for possibly better results. I let my hair air dry and was left with a healthy looking shine. The texture also felt super soft, I kept wanting to run my fingers through it because it felt so smooth but unfortunately the smoothness doesn’t last long. By the end of the day my hair was frizzy and felt rough. I don’t think I’ll be using these products again in fear of damaging my hair.

Super nourishing and makes my hair super soft! I feel that it does what it claims to do which is bribing moisture back to the hair, and strengthens the hair. The only thing I would say is that this has a strong scent of coconuts, so this might not be for people who are sensitive to smell, as this scent can be overpowering. But surprisingly I do like it considering I prefer no scented products. I also like that this product doesn’t contain sulfates and parabens. BUT as I read the ingredients, it does contain dimethicone. This ingredient is associated with hair loss so I did stop using this product after looking at the back. I refuse to use products containing this ingredient as I’ve seen significantly less hair loss when I avoid products that have this ingredient.

I gag. So this time with no pre smell of it I said “ok Lea time to at least give it a try†so I held my breath as long as I possibly could and put a quarter size of shampoo into my hair lathered it as much as I could on my scalp which there was practically no lather and if your looking for lather this is not it and if you don’t like coconut then this is definitely not it. Overall, this is a decent shampoo. After using it, my hair feels clean and refreshed. I usually struggle with build up and oiliness on my scalp, and with this shampoo I’m to get about 3 solid before needing to wash it again, which it pretty on par with the other shampoos I’ve tried. One thing that I have noticed, is that it doesn’t really lather well. Because of this, I find myself using more product. This shampoo also has a nice light scent that you aren’t able to detect on your hair after washing it. Ultimately, considering how cheap this shampoo is, it performs well and I would recommend it.

The parts that were bleached before definitely need more TLC but nothing a little oil can’t fix. If I were using this on my natural straight black hair, then it would be completely fine. However for the bleached ends, I need another product to help supplement that needed moisture. However I liked how voluminous my hair was after washing. Usually because I need to moisturize the dry ends, my hair is flat and boring. With the shampoo and conditioner duo, I have fluffy and voluminous hair. I absolutly LOVE the OGX Coconut Milk Conditioner! It leaves my hair feeling soft and feeling just as moisterized dry as it is wet... Which is really awesome, my hair dye wasnt coming out with the water either (huge plus). A great conditioner that also does not leave my hair frizzy whe dried which is really hard to find a good conditioner for damaged hair and comes out feeling healther after the first use. The only thing they could work on is the price by lowering it just a little. I dont make much and having to pay bills,morgage, and buy body and hair care products along with buying groceries, and dog and cat food plus other daily expenses adds up. Other than that i highly recommend this product! Enjoy!

I am a dedicated OGX user since last couple of years due to the gentle non-damaging formula. Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo for hair that needs extra hydration and nourishment, coconut milk shampoo is the perfect product. The sulfate-free shampoo contains Coconut milk, Coconut oil and ultra whipped egg white proteins which plays a very important role to maintain the hair health. The product smells like heaven and makes you feel like a tropical vacation in the shower. In the very first use, it made my hair extremely smooth, shinier and hydrated. There was no frizz or dryness. The formulation will help strengthen and balance the hair upon regular use.

HAIR FALLING OUT!

I bought this shampoo 2 weeks ago. The first wash made my hair feel great, but every wash after that I started noticing my scalp was itching really bad and then I notice a significant amount of hair loss. Like, clumps of hair!! I just kept itching and itching, it came to the point of asking my husband to check my head because I thought I had lice! I even had bumps on my scalp that I could only assume were sores from all the itching. My scalp was dry yet my hair was greasy with a mix of brittle. It was hard to run a brush through it because it was so tangled. I didnt think it was the shampoo because my hair is Naturally oily and breakes off alot, plus I am 3 months post partum and I've heard of post partum hair loss.
