I was so excited to try this shampoo, it smells great. I have naturally super thick/long hair and it did not work for my specific hair type. It’s not very sudsy at all and I need that for my hair to get it clean. I even tried to emulsify it in my hands beforehand and it still didn’t work. I re applied it too, and my hair felt greasy, dirty and itchy still. I ended up using so much of it that it’s just not worth the waste for me. So if you have a lot of hair, I don’t recommend. Maybe it works for girls with thinner hair but just a heads up for my thicker haired girls!

I really was hoping this would work for my hair, and as a conditioner, it is actually really good. Rich and moisturising, my curls soaked up the conditioner. The only reason didn't buy it again is because although I have curly hair, it is thin. This conditioner just weighed my hair down too much. Which pulled out some of the curl and I lost some of my volume as well (which having fine hair, I really can't afford to do) However, if you were blessed with thick and curly hair I would recommend giving this a try.

Definitely recommend using this conditioner with the matching shampoo. This conditioner adds tons of hydration and moisture without weighting down my hair or making it feel gross. Leaves my curls looking bouncy and like actual curls, instead of just frizz. My hair just looks amazing and healthy ever since I started using OQX's products.

Now I know it’s not made to be a leave in conditioner but it’s actually the best one I’ve ever used. I have my shower and even with conditioning my hair in the shower using another conditioner my hair could use some more moisturizing. This gives my hair so much moisture and it stays the whole day. My hair doesn’t need any curl creams this keeps the hair shiny soft and non frizzy the whole day and honestly I’m obsessed. If only it was slightly cheaper and easier to find in stores because I love it and it would be perfect.

The only thing good about this, for me, is the smell. This is just not a good conditioner IMO. I have long, thick hair. I do not use heat of any kind, deep condition regularly, and get regular trims. All the stores around me stopped selling my HG, so I thought I'd give this a try. I knew immediately I didn't like it (hair felt drier, more coarse frizzy, *super* tangly), but I wasn't going to let it go to waste. After 2 weeks of use I've got split ends! Everywhere! Y'all, I don't get split ends and I just had a trim about 3 weeks before starting use. So, I'm going for a cut tomorrow and throwing the rest of this out! Sorry OGX. Yikes.

Absolutely Not Worth It, Ruined My Hair

I was using maui moisture heal + hydrate and it has immensely healed my damaged hair after years of straightening my naturally curly hair. I saw this and bc I use other OGX curl products, I was so excited to use this! My hair has never been more dry or fragile. It's starting to fall out and it's so brittle after only a few days of use. If I could give this less than 1 star I would. I would 100% recommend the Maui Moisture Heal + Hydrate shampoo and conditioner, though! My curls look much better with that!

An absolute miracle!

I love this shampoo. I'll preface in saying that it's not strong on scent like many of the other shampoos I've tried in the past. John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette being the most delectable. But what it lacks in scent comes back with awesome curl power! It truly is a curling shampoo. I have very long, typically frizz prone curly hair as I hot ironed it stick straight for years so it's still recovering from that damage. This shampoo within just a couple of uses turned my "poodle ears" into soft and defined ringlets. I would recommend this product to anyone with wavy or curly hair!

Life altering Hair fallout!

Had it delivered by one of their drives a He dropped it off at my home I used it and my hair immediately started to fall out it gave me blisters and baled spots my hair is severely damaged I have worked hard and years to grow my hair out to wear my natural curl pattern I have alway had think hair & in one day one moment in time it’s destroyed I can’t say for sure it was they same day delivery guy but this isn’t the first time something happened when getting same day delivery a bottle of febreze fabric spay was mixed with pee someone had urinated in it was delivered by targets same day delivery driver. My hair is so bad and is still falling out it’s so bad I’m having to wear wigs hats etc…. I have FINALLY found a product that works almost perfect for my curls! I will admit I was hesitant to try this product when I would browse through the Hair isle at the drugstore; I wish I hadn't been so I would not have spent so much money on high end products that just do not work for my hair. As all curly heads know, you spend an arm and and leg on just products alone. After the Suave conditioner I used was discontinued, I tried DevaCurl, Ouidad, and Redken, among others. They didn't do much for my hair. It was still dry and it it just didn't clean much of it though it did strip a lot of its moisture if that even makes sense. As soon as I put the product on my hair I could see a difference. My curls are more defined, they have more bounce, less frizz, more shine! I can even rock second day hair! Before this, I would have to really dampen my hair and add more product for it to look decent. With this conditioner I really don't have to do much; just dab some water, sometimes some product, and add some shine. I know it probably sounds like I'm exaggerating but I am 100% serious about how pleased I am with this product. I have not tried any other product from this line. After I wash my hair I then use the Ouidad Curl Cream and then add a bit of the Ouidad anti-frizz gel (a little goes a long way).

After about 4-5 months of use, I noticed my hair started to get dryer and I needed to use an additional serum/oil after washing/conditioning for my hair not to be dry as hay. I was using PALMS full of oil, mind you, and I am not a person with very dry/textured hair normally, in fact my hair is very fine with some curls/waves. After about 6-7 months, I noticed much more of my hair was falling out. Not just in the shower, but every time I even combed through with my fingers I’d have clumps falling out.
