Overall seems like a good bed base. My partner took about 2-2.5 hours to assemble and he is a chippy by trade. Instructions confusing and was a bit of trial and error with the screw/bolt placement.Once assembled, looks nice :)Unfortunately, the black handle snapped on our first lift attempt with the mattress on top - so that's annoying. Also, the gas lift doesn't stay up by itself with the mattress on it and it closes quite quickly/suddenly so will have to make/fix something to it so I can utilise it on my own safely with the kids around. Overall, pretty happy as we mainly bought it for the extra storage space, which is decent.

Wow... I have no words for how much work it takes to assemble this bed. I am a novice at furniture assembly and this bed has really taken the cake. There are many parts that could have been attached prior to packing as well. The manufacturer has really not considered the customer in any capacity when engineering this product. On top of that, I am 6 bolts short and have to make a trip to the hardware store tomorrow to complete the assembly, and hopefully I won't have to spend another night on the couch.

I recently got a gas lift bed frame, and I'm loving it! The materials feel high-quality and super sturdy. Plus, it looks amazing-such a sleek, modern design. The fabric color is just right, adding a cozy vibe to my room.The gas lift mechanism works like a charm, making it easy to access the storage underneath. Overall, it's a perfect mix of style and functionality. Highly recommend it if you want to upgrade your bedroom!

Would give higher stars but the assembly manual is written horrendously and the pictures are so confusing. I don't usually struggle with assemblies but the labelling of parts etc is awful. Additionally, the slats were extremely splintered and you have to manually add 3 plastic peices to EACH slat (and there are about 20). This is bad for fingers and extremely manual- should be streamlined. Once assembled the bed looks and feels nice. Picture is taken mid-move but I'm sure it'll look great once unpacked!

Overall great quality and value for the price.Pros - nice linen fabric, great storage space, easy to use once assembled.Cons - Instructions are particularly awful, diagrams are difficult to decipher and many pieces were not numbered so trial and error to work it out. It would have been helpful to have had some troubleshooting sections, like how to make the gas lift work once assembled (I had to YouTube it). It's much quicker to assemble some of the screws with an electric drill. Allow 3 hours for assembly.

I wish I had read the lower rated reviews before I purchased this. It's not what I was expecting. The assembly took 3 hours & 2 goes to do it because I had to go & buy a drill! It looks lovely when it's put together but the quality seems poor with very thin slats. The gas lift is not smooth or easy to lift & as for the storage........ well that's actually just your floor. Of everything, that's the most disappointing. If I'd known that I would have purchased something else, who wants their clothes or linens on the floor collecting dust? I may as well have gone to another competitor & wouldn't have had to wait for delivery.

We just purchased this queen size storage bed base.The bed was delivered in two separate boxes that included all the necessary parts to build the bed, it also comes with some tools but a screwdriver is also required to complete the work. All parts are labelled (number/Letters) and the instructions are easy enough to follow. The time taken to build the bed base was 3 hours with everything working as it should. The fabric colour is exactly what is shown on the website and the price we paid was well worth it. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

Looks good and works good. Took me sooo long to set up by myself. However, will be much quicker if you have an impact driver. Because for some screws they didn't come with a hole pre drilled like the others for some reason. Instructions are pretty good but one section was actually incorrect but easy to figure out if you have common sense. Still recommend. Some quality as an Ikea one for more than half the price!

It was quite challenging to put this bed together. The brackets were not attached on the side pieces in the correct position by the manufacturer so they did not line up with the holes in the end pieces. I had to remove the brackets and reattached them. The instruction was not very clear so I got the pieces mixed up and had to undo and redo them a few times. It works pretty well once it is assembled. I bought a king single and I enjoy the storage space underneath.
