What a great coffee table. I cannot believe how useful. I can display my "coffee table books" my little set of drawers, my pivoting arm for my Audirvana remote, as-well-as my feet (in the down position) .Not only that, the storage compartment holds all my "junk" as-well-as my salt and pepper etc for when I'm eating. The light fixture on the right is an added bonus. I gave drilled holes so my leads are hidden.Extremely easy going regarding putting the unit together. I did it by myself on a morning even when I was coming down with cold so was not my usual perky self.One thing I did do to make my coffee table extremely practical... I added wheels (see example in pictures). Very straightforward process replacing the included legs. Simply go to your hardware store with that phote and ask your assistant.One other thing... I added a cotton webbing strap under the lift top (just thread it in between the lift-top mechanism) leaving plenty either side to make a loop. A tiny dab of glue keeps the strap in upright position so it doesn't get jammed when putting lid down.So it is definately a 5 review.

Although the table is a great idea for both comfort, aesthetics and convenience. It has been seriously let down by the poorly written instruction manual that does not distinguish the correct direction and orientation of every single piece to a point where it becomes completely down to trial and error and is not recommended to be completed by a solo effort (It is possible to do so, but having to hold pieces by yourself and screw in the screws after multiple failed attempts becomes a little tiring after the third attempt). Again this is due to the poor written instructions about which direction a piece should be facing without having to take apart the whole thing again! I believe with more clearly written instructions, this table would be a 5/5 because of its design idea, but due to the frustration of having to break my back-holding pieces to unscrew, re-orientate and screw back in again, through trial and error I have no choice but to give the overall mark a 3/5.

The table is not overly large and fjts well into our lounge room. Materials are of good quality for the price and were put together without much difficulty. I particularly like the very useful storage area and the hinged lid is nice and sturdy. Also the two shelves give handy storage. Looks stylish and easy to clean.

This looks great, but it was a nightmare to put together. Instructions show low design , so many tiny drawings of steps with lack of clarity, and several parts aren’t specified so had to reverse steps and rebuild. Way too much time and effort for this product compared to other constructions this was a won’t do it again!

I was able to construct this myself - recommendation on the instructions is for two people. Be super careful of the brackets for the lift top if you do it by yourself. I was able to do it while on and off the phone and email with my solicitor while drafting a parenting order and on and off the phone to the physio and doctor about physio referrals for my daughter and finishing up work-from-home for the day. It took me about 2 hours with all that distraction - you could easily do it in one hour or way less if you really focused on it and don't make any mistakes. It takes two screwdrivers (1 flat, 1 phillips) and a hammer to constructAll the components were there (dowels, different screw types, fasteners, etc.) in marked, sealed bags but with no spares (except one dowel - that was more trouble that it was worth as I thought it had fallen out of somewhere and I ended up half pulling the thing apart to find where). I made one mistake and ended up with two small screw holes through the top laminated edge along one side under the lift top after I corrected it. Pay really close attention to the orientation of the parts in the instructions and just think about where surfaces have to end up and you'll do OKI couldn't quite get the lift top to line up exactly, but that is because I was working on it myself, I think. It's off by less than a millimetre and probably worth another attempt if I can get a friend to helpThe legs were a little disappointing. They have a glossy plastic coating with the woodgrain pattern (but appear to be solid wood underneath) while the laminate on the rest of the unit is more of a matte finish. My lounge room is quite bright in the morning and it can look a bit off. Some of those plastic coatings are loose and may possibly slide off if you're not carefulIt was really well packed, but be warned there is a horrendous amount of packaging to get rid of. I have a smaller sized wheelie bin and the styrofoam alone has completely filled it for this week. Likewise, the box is quite large and you'll need to cut it down into pieces with a Stanley knife to fit it in your recycling binOverall quite good for the price

Absolutely love this table! It's such good quality and a gorgeous colour that will compliment nicely to any space. It was super easy to build (though I will say that I would suggest two people for the final step to attach the lift up top to the inner table as I did struggle with this on my own) and is perfect for those small spaces.

Love this coffee table. Super affordable and just what I needed to lighten up an old room. It's fantastic that it pops up and I can use my laptop on especially when working from home. Was easy to assemble and the delivery was next to none. Received within two days and in rural area!

Delivery was very fast well before the advised delivery date. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly was straight forward. I really enjoy the design and how it fits into my living room. The pop up table feature is my favourite. It's the perfect hight to act as an improtu TV dinner table. As well as being perfect when I'm working on my laptop. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product to others considering it.

Not for weaklings

I had issues putting it together due to confusing instructions and a incorect label. I did get it done but with the springs being so tight I have to stand up and pull front and back of the top to lift it up. I wouldn't recommend it for amyone who is frail or doesn't have decent strength in thier arms.

This desk is perfectly functional

This desk is perfectly functional and looks great. I bought it for my brother who is currently studying at University.My problem with it was that more than once I had to undo and rebuild sections. There were these little details I wasn’t aware to be watchful of until it was too late.Perhaps the instructions could point them out earlier, to be mindful of the little details that will be necessary at a further stage.
