The ARIA is a quality entry level ball bearing reel with a solid feel and features that step it above what many classify as 'entry level'. Excellent value for money for the enty level and social angler.

Delivery $18.21

Love this reel. Smooth, quality, for around $20. Can’t beat it. The 40a was slightly smaller than I expected. That’s the only criticism I have about it.

Great product. I personally love the Okuma brand. They are well built and perform great.

I was pleasantly surprised, ordered this reel by mistake but have had the opportunity to use it for several hours with 8 pound BerkleyTrilene XL and if functioned very well. I have several Okuma reels and this one compares well with the other ones I use regularly. The only issue it had was after a couple of hours casting into the wind the line started to take up under the spool which forced me to remove the spool to correct.

I purchased the 20A for a cheaper ultralight setup and the 30A for a medium-light setup. Both reels seem relatively well constructed and work well. The braking when the lock is on is near instantaneous, which is a lot nicer than other 1 bearing reels, and theyre relatively smooth as well. I would prefer my more high end rapala reels any day, but at this price point its the best choice and gives a lotta bang for your buck.
I bought these reels for my grandkids to use on their RV road trip to and vacation in Montana. They will use for freshwater fish: trout, sunfish and bass. I spooled with 15 lb braid with a 10 yd 8lb flourocarbon leader.
Definitely do some research into the Okuma ARIA reel, I was quite shocked at the reel I received compared to what is shown here, the ALARIS. For the price, this reel works but feels flimsy in the 3000 series. Would be great for kids.
Plums has been around since 1986 and Ive been using their equipment religiously since 1995. Out of some 15 fly reels and spinning reels as well two countdown trolling reels I have had only one problem with a drag system. They are reasonably priced with excellent quality. I was a Shimano advocate prior to switching to Okuma and would say they are equally as good if not better! One cannot go wrong with Okuma equipment in hand...
Great product, i have 3 other okuma reels, are great quality, have good drags, smooth casting and reeling. I plan to buy 3 more to replace my other spinning reels for crappie fishing..
I haven't used the reel yet due to the weather, but overall it looks like a well made reel. practice casting in the back yard proved it to be smooth, and quiet. Return is fast also.
this reel is terrible. so horrible. literally broke during a fight with a bluegill sunfish as seen in pic. wont be buying okuma again.👎🏼
