I've tried multiple Vitamin C serums in my long journey of taking care of my skin, but this one quickly rose to the top of the pile, and I'll explain why as I move on. The Super Serum is packaged in a rather large pearlescent glass container, with a massive silver lid. Serum wise, the product is very silky with a milk like texture, and smells pleasantly citrusy, with no chemical unpleasantness in the undertone. Application is simple, and only a small amount of serum is required to smooth over the face, neck and chest. It is non greasy, absorbs easily, and leaves the skin plump, hydrated and smooth, ready for your next skin care step. As instructed, I used morning and evening, and avoided the eye area. I had no feeling of tightness or irritation, which is always a bonus, and over time, I noticed some very encouraging benefits. Some of the big claims with this serum, were for a boost in brightness and skin luminosity, and yes, I really have noticed a huge improvement in these areas! The most obvious improvement I've seen in my skin, though, is a massive reduction in a rather large sun spot on the side of my face. I've had it for years, and nothing has ever budged the pigmentation before, but it's actually faded significantly since I've started using this serum! I certainly wasn't expecting that effect, but am really pleased with the outcome!I would definitely recommend this serum to anyone who needs to tackle pigmentation of any sort, and a boost to dry, dull skin. It really delivers the goods.

I have been using Vitamin C and serums everyday as part of my regular skin routine, so when I saw Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C Super Serum I had to try it out. The product incorporates vitamin A, Retinoids, and vitamin C serum that are supposed to leave the skin feeling hydrated, fresh and with a dewy look - which I guess it does, because I can get away with just using a toner, this serum and Olay Moisturiser on my 50+ to skin!! The packaging - a sleek screw top, pump Action bottle which looks and feels a bit luxurious. The pump pops up as you unscrew the lid (aaah yep that took me a bit). A full squirt does face and neck. So use sparingly. The product - the serum is a very light 'lotion' texture that is rather opaque. It's not overwhelming or floral, and dissipates quickly. Application : I find a squirt on my fingertips warmed by lightly rubbing together then dabbing onto my face and neck before massaging lightly in gives best coverage. And then finishing by lightly pressing. Let the serum sink in and do it's thing before moisturising and sunscreen. It's a Vitamin C Serum. I have been using Vit Cs of varying strengths in my regime for ages - I didn't notice any tingling at all on my sensitive skin. Maybe I have built up a good tolerance to Vit C, or maybe this product has a low therapeutic level. Whatever the reason, some ideas to ease into Vit C - try a patch test, try it as a night serum to start, and use sunscreen (which you should anyway)

A lover of this vitamin C super serum by Olay! Because I have sensitive skin, vitamin c serums tend to burn my skin. However, this one felt really nice and light. It is kind of like a creamy milky moisturizer texture instead of the clear serums you usually get. I absolutely love this as it feels like it is both moisturising and also leaves the skin glowing. On top, it smells really nice, unlike some of the others I have used before. The antioxidant leaves my skin looking amazing. I like to use it during the day instead but make sure you apply 50spf+ sun cream to avoid sun damage to your skin! Recommend!

Dodgy if you look at the ingredients/lack of vit C

I asked Olay what % vit c this has & they couldn't tell me because it was a secret. This is a MASSIVE red flag for the below reason....Theres no reason the % needs to be secret, its not giving away their recipe. The only reasonable reason= the vit C content is so low they don't want customers to know.If you look at honest/good quality products they are open/ state the %, eg Loreal's serum has 12% vit C. The companies that have low amounts oftwn hide the fact by concealing the %.2nd red flag, the vit C is not even close to the tip 5 ingredients, it's about 20th, this girther indicates the vit C content is terribly low. How low... To start with, I have a pretty complicated skin type, which is oily, acne-prone, and slightly sensitive in some areas. Therefore, when choosing a skincare product I tend to love the one that is not sticky and oily and. Lucky, this new Olay Niacinamide + Cica Super serum got the texture that I want. This serum has a pretty lightweight and fast-absorbing texture. For that reason, I can see that Olay is trying to reduce the use of fragrance in their future products and getting more and more serious in the skincare game.Another thing I like about this serum is that it is formulated without sulphates, parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, and mineral oils, which can be irritating for some skin type. It only gets good stuff such as+ Niacinamide aka “Vitamin B3”, which is Olay’s favourite ingredient and is available in most of Olay’s products (helps lighten dark spot, acne marks gradually and slightly reduces the visibility of large pores),+ Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, aka “Cica” (helps soothe rednesses and calm irritation)+ Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine (targets dark spots and lighten them)And a lot of other great ingredients.As for the result, I have started using this serum since the 18th of Jan. Today, which has been almost 3 weeks since the day I started using the product, I can already see some slight improvements on my skin such as my rednesses are reduced and my skin tone looks more even overall.I got acne marks also and they seem to fade a bit after using the product, but compared to other improvements I mentioned above, this seems to be the less visible one. However, it is understandable since the main ingredient of this product is Niacinamide and it usually takes more than one month for Niacinamide to fully show its effectiveness. Therefore, the main key here is to be patient and keep using this product to see the results.I got this product for free to test it out, but that is not more important than how I truly feel about this product. I personally have a pretty good feeling about this new Olay Super Serum and I am so glad to see that Olay is getting more innovative by releasing new products with good ingredients and less intense fragrance.I have already got a plan of purchasing the next bottle on my own and using it in my skincare routine and of course, I highly recommend this product to everyone.
