This is my favorite daytime moisturizer. Reason 1: It is matte and not greasy. Reason 2: It goes well under makeup and does not pill. It keeps makeup looking fresh. This smells almost like a baby powder/rose scent. Some say it smells like an older lady/their grandma but it’s not overpowering at all. I don’t mind it because it smells fresh and relaxing. I have repurchased this product countless times for the last two years and will continue to do so! Wish I knew about it earlier. There’s a reason why it has been around for so many years. Because IT WORKS! This is an HG for me.

This is a great surprise. I tried a test patch at first and then started using it daily or at night. I have found a hydrating cream with a composition that has the right balance for my dry, sensitive skin; a perfect texture. The scent is pleasant and light to the senses. The result leaves a clearance and smoothness with my skin feeling freshly hydrated and rested. I'm in my early sixties and this is now a new cream in my daily routine. Package and size is perfect, and price. Quality, the best. I will reorder. Thank you.

Love Oil of Olay!

This is a classic! I love reading that other ladies have used this for 20 years. Its not too greasy and keeps skin moisturized and glowing. Perfect for natural looking skin. I have really horrible eczema and ever since a switched to this all my dry patches on my fave have healed. You can’t beat the price and quality of this night cream.

I am 44 years old, I live in Michigan where the weather can wreak havoc on my skin, plus I also work in the medical field using drying hand sanitizers daily. My grandma used Oil of Olay all her life. She passed away at age 93 but she didn't look a day over 70. I have tried many lotions, facial creams/gels/masks....even botox for crows feet over the years. I read/researched about this Active Hydrating cream and found it was only available at 2 Walmarts in the Mid-Michigan area, yet 4 available between both stores. I bought the Active Hydrating Cream 3 weeks ago and I use it religiously and I absolutely love it. I use it on my face/hands/neck. I can already tell the difference. I have a "drawer full" of hand lotion & creams that never worked. Using this cream on my hands they look so much better, they are no longer dry and cracking. Must have facial moisturizer

Love this product especially like the larger container. Loyal consumer for years. Younger people specifically be certain to start using this product on your face/neck . Really does moisturize well without greasy or heavy feeling on your face . Quality product after all these years. Still a quality product.

Not for normal to dry skin

I am a South Asian woman age 46 with normal to dry skin. More dry at times. I bought this cream to replace my clinique dramatically differently moisturizer since I needed a cream which provided more moisture.This does not work for me at all. It dries to a matte immediately upon applying which makes my skin feel dry and tight. I have to apply a touch of petroleum jelly over this cream immediately upon applying to make my skin feel less tight.

Peaches and Cream

I was stationed in Germany in 1979 when I first found the Original Lotion/Creme in the PX. At the age of 22 I did not think that I needed skin cream, but I spent many hours working outside each day over the next three and a half years (many field exercises), so I decided to give it a try. And I have been using Oil of Olay Original Lotion/Creme ever since. Now working towards my 70s, I still get complimented on my peaches and cream complexion, and how youthful I look. Thank you, Oil of Olay, for being on the shelf in our little PX on our small kaserne!

I didn’t realize it was like a pink cream! I like it. There was no seal on it which I hate but has happened a lot with other products I’ve bought too.I like it! So far I have no complaints. I think it’s pretty good for the price and not thick like other Olay. I like thick lotions but not for my face so this is pretty dang good!

I've been using this for years and I hope it never goes away. Only ever buy the Active Hydrating Cream (the small container) and never the lotion because there is a difference. I have combination skin and this is the only thing I've found that hydrates my skin well enough without causing me to break out. It smells lightly of flowers.
