This enchilada kit is favourite in our household, and produces some very yummy results. It is quite easy to make, although we substitute the chicken with quorn to make it vegetarian.The standard retail price is a little high, so we tend to stock up on them when they are on sale. This product was received as part of a promotion.

I love this enchiladas kit! It is perfect! I make a vegetarian version with mushrooms and butter beans - the sauce and spices are superb and the recipe works brilliantly! Whole family loves this and I always have a box in cupboard!

Tasty enough but the residue from the sauce dyed the plastic in the dishwasher bright orange. I've never had this before, despite eating a lot of tomato-based/paprika products. Best to rinse anything with the cooking sauce on thoroughly before using the dishwasher (or wash by hand).

I am generally happy with every El Paso product I've tried. Recently, I purchased the Dinner Enchilada Kit hoping to have a quick short-cut dinner. The seasoning packet and sauce were very good; however, the flour tortillas are not a good fit. They were soggy and wet - very much like unbaked dough. Corn tortillas would be a better choice to include in these dinner kits.
Good quality as always for this make. However the amount of ingredients needed Vs what they give you does not seem value for money. Buying the ingredients separately will likely save you money. The recipe however is good, although did struggle on follow instructions as wasn't worded the best.Overall, if on offer I would buy and works well for when unsure what to have for dinner!
Not something I would have all the time as very heavy on the cheese if made with the amounts suggested, enough of a kick to make your lips tingle but basically just wraps filled with chicken in tomato & cheese, nothing really to dislke. I do wonder if it would be cheaper to just buy some tortillas, sauce & seasoning separately as this is all you actually get in the pack, the other items you need to purchase anyway. Bought as part of a promotion on this occasion.
I usually stick to buying tacos and fajitas and had never tried the enchiladas set. I bought this item as part of a promotion so I was happy to be able to try them and I was pleasantly surprised. The enchiladas were tasty but I would say that I still prefer fajitas. This is personal preference but I also think that the enchiladas are a bit more time consuming. If this set was on offer, I would buy it again and would recommend it to other people.
Bought as part of a promotion. My family and i love this the enchilada kit. Its quick and easy yo make. All instructions are on the box. You need to provide your own chicken snd peppers but the tomato sauce, seasonings and wraos ate in the box. Its fun to mske and tastes delicious.
Replaced chicken for Waitrose fajita rump steak slices and added onions and red peppers while frying the meat as others suggested. Made a really tasty and filling meal served alongside some homemade Mexican rice. However, I found the instructions on the pack very unclear. In the pack are tortillas, a packet of seasoning powder and two pouches of cooking sauce (not quite sure why there are two as they are identical and we only needed to use one, otherwise wouldve been far too runny). Three steps on the box to make the enchiladas. Step one makes reference to adding tomato paste. So I was already confused at this point as there is nothing labelled tomato paste in the kit. I am so thrilled to have found this product again. It was an absolute favorite of my families. It makes the whole dinner question easy. Fast, simple and delicious.
