Malformed plastic cover (manufacture fault)was jamming the breeze deflector causing it to lose it's position. Installer removed the lumps of plastic mould causing the jamming. Now the deflector opens and closes but the deflector won't respond to the remote control. All other remote functions work. Batteries for the remote were not in the packaging and the unit looked like it had been unpacked and then repacked....so don't know where to go with that. Otherwise it works well and did the job over two consecutive 40 deg C days. It's an expensive unit so a little disappointed. I would recommend but only with caution.

I brought this for my wife as she runs a temporary salon out of our garage. The Rinai portable unit she was using just wasn't cutting it in these hot months. The Olimpia definitely stepped it up, no its not a split system but we didn't want a permanent fixture and this does the job just nicely. The energy rating isn't the greatest but we were desperate for a unit that is going to do the job and this seems to be doing it nicely.
