Still early days, but so far, so good. These omegas are far superior to my normal brand. Very nicely packaged, the capsules are easy to swallow (I know other reviewers have had a problem with this, but maybe it's easier for me because I have been taking omegas every day for the past five years), no unpleasant aftertaste. Definitely worth trying. Only negative: £35 for two months' supply is a little steep.

The bag these are in is very small which I like. finally a package that doesn't have loads of empty space. The capsules are very easy to swallow and because they are vegan have no fishy taste or smell. I think they are a bit on the expensive side though.

DHA supplements are usually derived from fish oil, which is not helpful if you're a vegan or vegetarian. The DHA in these casules is sourced from algae, providing 500mg DHA and 20mg of EPA per capsule (one per day). According to HealthSpan, 250mg benefits brain and eyes, and 250mg of DHA and EPA benefit the heart. As fish oil is not used, there isn't an aftertaste of cod liver oil.

These capsules are made from algae rather than fish oils so are suitable for vegans. They have a high concentration of DHA in one capsule. This does mean that they are on the larger side, but as someone who doesn't have a problem with swallowing tablets, this is not a problem for me. They didn't leave any taste or aftertaste and I have had no side effects. I have knocked off one star as I think these are expensive.

This is a high dose DHA supplement and comes from algae which is arguably better than fish oil which is notoriously prone to rancidity. (Still I would recommend keeping it in the fridge). At the current price of £34.99 for 60 capsules it is expensive, although a lot of cheaper products have less DHA. Additional credit goes to the manufacturer for being honest and transparent in their labelling.
