Really very quiet operation, I've had many different brands over the years, and this unit was very surprisingly quiet. Nice quality remote to go with it, looks much better unit than the picture shows. Honestly stylish and modern look and best of all its very cold. I notice also that the exhaust hose is a bigger diameter than my other air conditioners with a much larger hole at window, this is obviously much better for release of the hot air. The only con in my opinion is the top louvres don't really direct the airflow as precisely as front louver models, however it's not much of a problem in reality.

The air conditioner works, and does it’s job pretty well for my small space (~20sqm). Decibel level is actually 65dBm, but it’s still able to be slept through. The wall vent has fallen out once or twice, but it’s simple enough to put back. The water drainage solution is a bit dinky though… getting water out of the thing tends to end up an exercise in mopping up puddles.Overall though, it’s well worth it for being cool.

The Portable AC does a good job in cooling so far, as we have not yet tried the heating but hopefully it will reduce the need for runnibg the ducted gas heating. Regarding the cooling, it is easy to use but the fan is a bit noisy when in cooling mode but is fine when just in fan mode. The noise is acceptable but would be nicer if it were quieter,It is very easy to move around from room to room as needed. Overall I would recommend this unit.
