Bought for the reviews on how quiet it is. Low speed is whisper quiet and a really gentle breeze. It's perfect for sleeping. Love that it has a remote. Love the ice blue coloured blades of the fan. It helps them to not be overly visibly while in use which reduces the feeling of a huge block of colour in the room, it's less imposing than other fans. Very happy with this purchase.

Omega Altise make good fans. What I like most is the round heavy base, no stubbed toe like on X based fans. This one is a medium power fan and pretty quiet. I prefer the more powerful model for better build quality and higher power but it costs more. This is a great budget pedistal fan. Recommend.

We have purchased four of these fans over the last few years to use in bedrooms during summer. They work well, the settings allow for speed and frequency variations and there’s also a timer function. The remote control is very handy too.
I bought this fan around a month ago and I think it was the right choice for the target price. The different modes are great for when you're sleeping and need to lower the whirring sound.The base was dirty and had insect remains and the plastic had signs of use so was disappointed with that but otherwise a good product.
We have bought many cheap upright fans in the Joie of replacing the omega fan that was given to us. In the end we decided to buy this new omega fan and it is great! It's quiet and provides the alternative we need on hot night rather than running the air conditioning
It works okay and is very quiet but after the 3rd day whenever we used the oscillating function it creaked and groaned so loudly that we are afraid it would break or or fall apart or catch fire !
I bought this a few weeks ago for use in the bedroom. It has a very quiet and smooth operation, easy to use remote. The only negative thing is the red LED light is VERY bright and so noticeable at night. I had to stick a piece of black tape over the display to dim it, but the light shines through the white plastic surround. This will only be a problem if this sort of light bothers you.This was the second fan of this model I received from Applinaces Online, as the first one I received was faulty. The return procedure was excellent, very straightforward and speedy, cannot fault it. Great service, thank you!
I bought this a month ago and so far no problems. It is a good looking quiet fan and has a remote control and has a good sturdy base. Not too light to carry. But not too heavy either a small skinny lady like me can carry easily.
bought on sale so very happy with price, but would still be happy if I'd paid full price. Assembly was straight forwards. The fan functions fairly quietly, and the sleep mode has been a blessing at night. The remote works well. This fan does pretty much what you want of a pedestal fan.
