I bought this on the recommendation of my oncologist as being a chemo patient monitoring your own stats can provide early warning of impending problems. Easy to use and I have found it is as accurate as those being used in hospital. Highly recommended!!!

An update on earlier versions. It is easy to use and is much quieter than the earlier version I have been using for over 10 years. measurements are accurate and have been checked by my GP. The new design Cuff is easier to use.

After a recent heart operation my cardiac recommended I purchase such a monitor. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and feel I am keeping tabs on my heart status. I even took it to my GP to compare it with their monitor and doctor said it was perfect. I feel a bit of comfort having it on hand now instead of wondering what my heart is doing in between doctor visits.

I have not had this for terribly long, so I can't speak about how it will last. However, I had a smaller Omron for years, and it is still going. This one has many features that are helpful. I have atrial tachycardia, and it tells you when your pulse is erratic. It tells you if the cuff is on properly, if you moved around and spoiled the result, if you are within the safe zone for systolic and diastolic levels. It saves 90 of your readings, so you can take the machine in to the doctor or specialist to see for themselves. It records the time the reading was taken as well. Larger than the cheaper versions, and the cuff is large for fatter arms (up to 42cm). I can't fault it so far, and while it was expensive, I would buy another in the futrue when this one wears out.
I purchased this product about one month ago and it is very accurate and easy to use. One of the indicators showed an irregular heart beat on a friend, who then went to her doctor and sure enough there was a problem with her heart, even though she felt fine. This is an excellent Blood pressure monitor.
I brought this product nearly a month ago and it has definitely been a lifesaver. It does everything it should and more. Very comparable to the ones at the doctors office. It is very easy to use with clear instructions.
This monitor kept telling me that I had super high blood pressure even though my blood pressure has been under control for years. I took the unit to my doctor to compare readings. He did my blood pressure manually, came back as 125/85. Checked with moron monitor it measured my blood pressure at 179/105!
It appears to work perfectly and the readings are same as what I get from my Doctor. This is the only means I have as a comparison. Very happy with the product.
Pros: It is "more" accurate than other BP monitors. I purchased a somewhat cheaper BP monitor from a named brand: Its accuracy was appalling being out by over 30mmHg above my actual blood pressure. (it was tested against three other monitors at my doctors consultancy) The Omron is simple to use. I recommend you sit down for at three minutes before taking a reading. And I suggest do a second reading some three minutes following the first even take a third reading. Cons: Records only 90 readings would be great to have significantly more. Not possible to transfer results to a computer Disappointingly, there no USB port. However other more expensive Omron monitors provide the ability to transfer data to a computer. Given the relatively high price of the HEM-7322 monitor ... MorePros: It is "more" accurate than other BP monitors. Given the relatively high price of the HEM-7322 monitor I think it is mean of Omron not to provide such transfer facilities. Cheaper "other" brand monitors provide USB and/or Bluetooth transfer facilities but accuracy in readings is the imperative.
This monitor is easy to use, of very high quality and gets the job done. If you are reading this you are probably looking to buy, just as I was 2 weeks ago. Wish I could see my own review :). Relax, buy this one. Cuff works well, display and operation is straightforward, gives repeatable readings and accuracy matches my doctor's machine.
