These shoes look cool and are fairly comfortable. There’s not a lot of cushion so it feels a bit stiffer. These are my second pair on On shoes but I dislike this pair because of the fact that the shoes cut into my ankle bones. They seemed fine when I first tried them on but once I went on my first run, they kept rubbing into my ankles and I had to stop running after my 3rd mile due to pain. Maybe it’s the way my foot is shaped? But I think there is a design flaw with the shoe as I have never had this kind of issue with any shoes I’ve worn.

Hits my ankle…

I LOVE the look of these but that’s not what is important for training. The second I put them on I could feel them hitting my ankle bone. The edges are a stiff neoprene that digs into your ankle bone. When I wore them the second day and every day sense I have a constant bruise there. I work through the pain and eventually it’s gone but who wants pain when they are training? The toe is extremely wide too. I usually always get an 8 in my workout shoes but after reading other reviews went down to a 7.5 , they are still too big. I could have went a whole size down I believe. I don’t recommend this for weight training or running. I am surprised no one else is reviewing them this way…….

I regret buying this item

DisappointingGood looking shoe , however poor structural integrity .After 3 uses . My individual pair started to wear out fast.The waterproof fabric is sturdy however the rubber cell structure bottom depresses after couple uses . Making the sole uneven when walking in these shoes . These shoes after light use become very uncomfortable. I highly disagree with the positive reviews about this shoe on Nordstrom.comGuys looking for weekend sneakers , a gym shoe , or next running shoe. Make a different selection

Material color changed

I purchased these a few weeks ago and have requested to return them. They are comfortable and look great out of the box. However, after the first time I wore them the black material around the toes began to fade to a gray/white color. I purchased the all black color but after wearing for 5 days the toes on both shoes show fading. They are minimally worn but look like they are years old with heavy wear. Bummed because I did like them but for the price the material should hold up much better.

Stylish Walking Shors

I got the previous version of these models and they have always treated me well. They are snug, and lightweight with great sole support that offer a great feel for walking. I would wish they added a breathable mesh to prevent my foot from sweating.I wouldn't consider these medium to heavy duty shoes for working out and or running. These don't have the features that would be considerable for other shoe brands that allow you performance advantages.

These are waterproof!

I bought these for walking. I'm still getting used to them and at this stage I've given them three stars but I should point out that I have narrow feet, quite bad osteoarthritis and and my biomechanics aren't good. I am experimenting with a different foot bed that provides better forefoot relief as the footbed the shoes came with didn't feel supportive enough. I needed to change the laces (they come with a set of regular laces) as for me the shoes were a bit wide. They felt a lot more secure once I changed the laces. The soles do provide a nice feeling that your motion is supported. I've tested them in the rain and they are definitely waterproof, which was important to me.

Worthy Investment for Your Gym Workouts

First trying this brand recommended by workout friend; available in wide sizes; good side support; such good arch supports that the usual inserts weren’t required; generous bottom tread reduces sliding; comfortable fit even with mild-moderate bunions; lightweight; Used almost daily in active gym workouts. I hope the treads under toes don’t wear out so soon due to mountain climbers, plank jacks, etc.

stylish but uncomfortable

Sized up a whole size as recommended and fit was good. Looks great too for all types of outings. Waterproofing works well on many hikes, walks and a few runs in Minnesota fall and winter. However, probably the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Pretty unhappy I shelled out all the money now because they just don’t seem to be getting any better. Feels like a bunched up sock under my toes in left shoe. Even tried SuperFeet inserts thinking a bit more cushion might help. In the end I’m looking around for something else.

updated shoelaces

These are the new cross trainers. I had purchased 2 pairs of the regular cross trainers previously. I loved them. The only complaint I had was the shoelaces sometimes untie themselves, after I double knotted them.The laces on these are thicker and less slippery so hopefully they won’t come undone at random times. They feel the same but look a little different than the previous model. So far so good!
