I bought these in June as a walking shoe. Very comfortable. I don't wear these everyday as I rotate my shoes. I took them to Disney World for 3 days in September. I also took my Brooks Beast GTS 24's. The Brooks showed no wear, The On's showed excess wear - see photo's. They also get dirty easily and are hard to clean. A 5 for comfort, a 2 for durability.

Unless the vast majority of people are trying these on before buying, I can’t understand how there are not more reviews stating the obvious, they run super wide and large, at least a full size. I have other ON versions in a 10 and they are perfect. Hopefully I can save someone from having to return or be stick with a show that doesn’t fit optimally because of lack of transparency. NOT tire to size unless everyone who is buying these shoes have abnormally WIDE feet!

Here the cushion feels less like walking on a cloud, but more like running on slightly springy ground. The closest thing I can think of might be the rubberized surface at a playground. Each stride sinks in a bit and bounces back out. As with walking, for the first part of the outing this was quite nice - no pain while running on a hard surface. But by the end of the first mile I was annoyed by the sensation. The cushion saps a bit of energy from each stride, almost like running on sand.Verdict: I think these are very niche shoes -- if your main concern is to cushion yourself from hard surfaces, and you don't have any gait issues, and you don't mind losing some energy to the cushion, these are the shoe for you as they are so well made. But I think many people may have some issue with these on longer outings. I strongly recommend trying these on and giving them a real test before purchase. The initial impression is likely to sway many because they do feel very comfortable out of the box, but you may find that it solves one issue while causing others.

I was able to lace these shoes snuggly around my foot (some regular sizes slip around when I turn, but not these), but it meant that the fabric at the bottom of the laces had to fold over itself. Sometimes this isn’t a big deal, but with these shoes, that folded fabric started to dig into the top of my foot. I really felt it on longer runs especially.So in summary, these are great shoes that just didn’t work for me. If you have a regular to wide foot, you may find that they’re perfect for you.
I use the Cloudrunner 2s at the gym to run on the treadmill. Overall they are a great shoe and I will be buying them again. The shoes have a lots of cushion and feel great under foot. I have a tendency to pull my calf muscles when I run but these shoes are doing a great job of preventing injuries. I’ve run more in the last 6 weeks with these shoes than I have in the past 10 years.
These are amazing running shoes. Out of the box, they feel like a glove. They are extremely comfortable with an excellent amount of cushion. The design of the fabric prevents my feet from feeling too hot while exercising. They have shoelaces that stay in place without having to tie double knots. I love the reflective accents on the shoes which are helpful for evening running. I have used these for over 10 miles of exercise at the gym and on the pavement and they are worth it.
Great shoes! I've taken these for a bunch of runs and walks around my (urban) neighborhood. They feel great. Well-cushioned without being overly bulky, it feels like the shape of the shoes naturally propels me into each stride. I typically wear Nike shoes, and these run a tiny bit large compared to those. I like the design aesthetically too.
These are the most comfortable shoes I have owned! The cushion on the bottom is very forgiving. The fit is perfect and allows enough room in the toe area and width. The durability is amazing and they through any weather. These have lasted through the rain and mud. Super easy to clean. I highly recommend!
