I loved them at first, felt so comfy to run 5Ks .. forward to longer runs and now my achilles tendon is screaming. Never had issues with my achilles with my asics. I think it's the design of back lip, it's M shaped and cradles achilles, if this isn't the natural position of yours, the shoes are forcing it into a position it doesn't want to be in and holding it there with every step. Also, back M is pretty stiff another factor of not letting free movement of whatever is your natural achilles movement. I don't plan to continue to cause strain onto my achilles, too much risk factors of this injury could be server. Back to my asics.

I like the On shoes, in some point, I had 3 pairs of their footwear - road, trail runners and casual pair. They fit my feet well; I believe it is the main criterion when choosing runners or any other shoes for yourself. It is a great quality brand but has specific fitting. I have high-arched and narrow feet with slim heels. On Cloudstratus are my go-to road running shoes. I own the old/first generation of it and have put many kilometres on it, including marathons. The On Cloudstratus 2 is a modified version of my pair, they reshaped the toe box, updated the outsole with harder-wearing rubber, better transitioning midsole and came up with an improved upper. All sounds like cool changes so once I'm done with my current pair, the Cloudstratus 2 are my shoes to go with.

I previously used On Cloudflyer and was looking for something with more cushion, but was hoping to have the same support and a flexible midsole. Unfortunately, these were cushy, but didn't hold my feet in place. The upper part feels wobbly. Also, these ran 1/2 size too small. I will stick with the cloudflyer!

I purchased these in a 7.5 which is the size I normally wear in running shoes, I wear a 7 in regular shoes. They fit at first, but doing long marathon training runs my toes feel super squished and hurt after. I don't know if I would even attempt a larger size.
I absolutely LOVE these shoes! I'm training for a 1/2 marathon and needed additional support AND cushion for comfort; not only are my joints much more comfortable - but the shoes literally seem to propel me forward; I believe they have improved my form and comfort as well as speed and endurance. I would strongly recommend! Also - Peter Glenn was quick in sending, and I received in only a couple of days - exceeding my expectations!
I have plantar fasciitis along with my flat feet. My feet would start to hurt after walking for 30 minutes.I first bought the hiking boots and found so much comfort and support and decided to give the tennis shoes a try. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've wore in quite some time. I can walk for miles compared to minutes now. I love these shoes so much I just bought another pair.I hope they don't decide to change this style.
I had heard great things about this shoe and was excited to try it - it didn't deliver. Not nearly as much cushion as my trusted Hoka Bondi-s. Maybe for someone without the joint issues and needs I have, it will work fine, but the lack of arch support and adequate cushion (running in it felt like wearing flip-flops), meant my feet, ankles, and knees all hurt after my run (this NEVER happens in my Hokas, just sayin'...). Beautiful color, though :) And I will keep these for walking the dogs or traveling, just not running.
I have been a runner/walker for many years. The past few months I have had fatigue and pain in the bottom of my feet. I also have low arches. I have been searching for the right shoe to support and provide relief to my feet. Not to mention, since working from home, I only wear tennis shoes. The On shoes have been the magic shoe for me. I can tell the difference in support.
These are the most comfortable shoes my feet have had the pleasure to adorn. I run/walk daily 4+ miles on a variety of surfaces and these lovelies handle it all right out of their box. The toebox is roomy, the heel is snug and the cush is divine.I normally wear an 8 wide in standard running shoes but had to size up to an 8.5 (standard width) in these. I have medium to high arches with a neutral gate.I would highly recommend giving them an honest try.
I am a Hoka fan and thought I can never wear another brand due to heel pain. But when I tried this on, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the shoe is and heel did not have any pain. I wore it after purchasing from the store and I have been wearing this since. A convert! Love, love this shoe♥️♥️♥️
