I bought these shoes during the Covid lockdown, so I didn't wear them for quite a while. I am an 8.5 in dress shoes, and ordered a size 9. I do not have a wide foot. My loves on these shoes: NOT ultra memory-type foam cushy. Those types of sneaks make me feel off-balance. Heel box secures the foot nicely. The arches are not high, as other reviewers have indicated. They are a normal arch. The biggest plus for me is that they actually fit in my arch. So many have the arch pressing in at the beginning of the sole of my foot. You can feel the breathability. The tongue does not come up and rub your ankle, as other brands can. Lots of rave reviews about ON shoes. I’ve been running for 20 years and have tried everything. So, I was eager to try out this ON technology. My final assessment…eh, they’re okay. Although aesthetically they’re stylish and they do have some shock absorption, everything else is disappointing. The laces are cheap, there is not a lot of arch support for normal size arch, and the back rests low on the Achilles heel. My Hokas and older Asics are better.

I have owned dozens of On running shoes over the years and always have a few in rotation since I wear them to work, run, weight training, ect. I decided to try the cloudswift since I love the look and colors. I was soo disappointed . Within minutes on the treadmill my feet went numb. I’ve never had to break in a pair of on’s. I had to cut my workout short and take them off. I sized up when I purchased (always do 1/2 size up) so thought maybe it was the socks I was wearing. So I gave the shoe another try and Couldn’t even stand wearing it around the house .I’m not giving up on onrunning shoes. They have done good for me and my bunions over the years otherwise ha ;)Sad to say I’ll be returning .

This model has more padding than the $139 models. Very much worth the extra $10. I tried them on in the store and was glad I did. First time ever sizing up from my normal 7.5 in all shoe types to an 8. Not sure if it’s just this model or not. But 8 is perfect.This one does not come with elastic laces as an addition. (Wish they’d make this more obvious on all styles, there are so many!)Super cushy and comfortable. I have a semi wide foot at ball of foot but skinny ankles. These are perfect. The tongue is fixed. No issues with that, still easy to slip into. Laces are thinner and nicer than on other brands of sneakers. Will buy black eventually. I bought the gray/white color. Soles are just very very light lavender. Pretty!
These shoes are wonderful. I am 76 years old and still work 20 hrs a week on my feet, so I need shoes that are comforable. Prior to the cloudswifts my back hurt every day, but now it does not. I feel more balanced, stronger and more energetic. There is plenty of room in the toe box, great support and I feel a boost with each step. Did I mention how cute and stylish they are! And yes, even at my age, I do not want to wear "old lady" shoes. I love how the tounge is attached to rest of the shoe so that they always stay in place. These are well worth the money.
I got this as a gift, I was apprehensive at first because I have severe Plantar Fasciitis and I am very loyal to the New Balance 990's. I had a trip planned that required a lot of walking so my spouse bought them for me to try them out. THESE WERE AMAZING, I walked with these shoes without an insert an it was just perfect for days filled with a lot of walking! I have not used any sneakers without inserts for a long time and these pair did their job. Please buy these confidently if you have issues with your feet! They work!!!!!
Got these 5months ago. All I can say is that they look gorgeous. I got 2 pairs, size 9 and 10(since I am a size 9us and wasn’t sure by the size chart). Returned the size 9 and kept size 10, they were a little narrow and small. These are perfect. I was traveling and needed comfy shoes for long walks.I just don’t know how to wash them not to damage or make them look bad. Other than that - I will get a second pair of they still have them when I wear mines out.:)

I walked in the shoes for about 10 minutes and stood in line for about another 5 before realizing that all my toes went numb. It was similar to the feeling of wearing a pair of 6 inch open-toe Louboutin pumps where the front portion of the shoe is so narrow that all your toes are squished together. I was in pain. I have never had this problem with any pair of high end running shoes I’ve purchased. I don’t wear wide width shoes. And I’ve never had to break-in a pair of sneakers either. I was excited to try On running shoes. I ordered the Cloudswift and Cloud X. The way the swift fits, it’s hard to believe they are the same brand. First, the swift was hard to get on my foot, even with the laces loose. The swift is oddly tight and uncomfortable in the toe box. They also feel stiff and uncomfortable even without standing. If this was the only pair of On I had tried, I would have no further interest in the brand.The Cloud X are fine. They are more aligned with my expectations for On. I will likely keep the Cloud X. The Cloudswift are going straight back to my local store.
I have been wearing these sneakers for three months with my own orthotics. They are pure heaven for me!I wear a women’s 9 or 9.5. Originally I ordered a 9.5 but they were too small, so I tried a size 10. Perfect fit! Keep in mind I am putting my own orthotics in them.I tried 3 other styles same brand and none were as cushiony and comfortable as these for me. Nothing close. I am going to get these in another color.BTW I don’t run in these shoes. I walk A LOT and use them for gym workouts and around town. Perfect for a vacation where lots of city walking is necessary.
