I don’t run anymore but I bought these for everyday use and I do a lot of walking. I wanted something that didn't look quite like a traditional running shoe but still looked sporty - they fit that niche. They are very comfortable. I am a size 11, B width and they fit perfectly.

I loved these shoes. The style, fit and comfort were excellent. Could wear from city to trail. My issue is after moderate use they have not worn well. The sides are splitting apart after only 6 months both shoes. See photos of shoes which are now 8 months and needing replacement.

I just got these shoes and find they fit true to size. I unintentionally found out they're durable, too. I took them for a hike and found myself scrambling up and down shale rock - sharp stuff! Not one hole or tear (thankfully!). My feet are not sore after using them. They're not as "cloud-like" as the other ON shoes as they made these more robust to handle gravel and rocky surfaces. But they're a great product. Highly recommend.

Only tried them once, but went for a 7k run and fit already perfectly. No blister at all; they were very comfy! I usually wear 7 in most shoes and ordered 7 and were true to size. Plus, they look awesome!
I'm reviewing after two years of putting these shoes through the wringer because I'm shocked at some of the reviews saying they fall apart. I've run 230 miles in them, including three ultramarathons, and they still have life to give. I usually *only* wear them for very long and intense trail runs, which usually makes my running shoes die faster, and weather on said runs has ranged from arid to pouring rain, over softball-sized rocks and up slippery waterfall canyons. I have climbed the equivalent of Mt Everest probably 4 times round trip in these shoes. The only sign of wear is some tearing, which I would absolutely expect from any shoe facing this kind of abuse. I wouldn't normally admit this on the internet but I even took out the insoles at some point last year ... MoreI'm reviewing after two years of putting these shoes through the wringer because I'm shocked at some of the reviews saying they fall apart. I wouldn't normally admit this on the internet but I even took out the insoles at some point last year during a run where they were giving me a hot spot and I forgot to put them back in. Yes, I've been running in these without insoles for roughly 70 miles without noticing. If you're hesitant because of bad reviews, I have two important recommendations! Most importantly, buy in-store where you can try multiple types of shoes on and make sure they actually fit your foot and gait. And two, rinse them off and throw some newspaper inside (or invest in a shoe dryer) after use. It prolongs the life of the shoe.
Great shoes. I use it for trail running and hiking, The soles grip very well. No more slipping! I had to return the first size that I tried on. I'm normally size 6 for running shoes, but for this brand 6 1/2 was perfect. On brand runs small. I greatly encourage to go half size up.
First off— I’m grateful that I purchased these from REI and they maintain their generous return policy. I bought these shoes for when I travel and want shoes I can hike and run in. That don’t look clunky and hideous. These shoes fit the bill— comfortable, supportive, sleek, and great grip. However I have only worn these shoes maybe 10 times and the upper on my big toe joint on BOTH feet just completely ripped open while I was on the trail today. I didn’t brush them against anything and it was pretty much a dirt pack fire road. Very disappointed in the quality of this shoe. My other pair from On only lasted 6 months too before the upper wore out. Maybe it’s more of a fashion sneaker?
I've bought two pairs now of the On Cloudventure shoes, and I love them both. Great traction, spread my weight across my feet wonderfully, comfortable for 12+ hr days on my feet, and no break-in period. Also they are lightweight and feel very high quality. Can't recommend these shoes enough. They're like wearing boots with really good grip support, but with the lightweight and comfort of sneakers. They run a little small, I had to buy half a size up from my normal size. My feet are about average to narrow and no issues there.
I bought these at 30% off (used) at REI and so far they are the most comfortable shoes ever! The size on the box was partially obscured by a label so I didn’t notice they are size 10.5 and I normally wear 10. They feel great so perhaps in this brand I need half size larger. I recommend them and plan to buy another pair. I bought them to do light hiking in summer but they definitely can be worn for walking, shopping, whatever you want (I am not a runner). I live in the South Puget Sound area of Washington state and am over 70 yrs (female).
These are designed to be a trail runner. They are lightweight, have a lot of cushion, propel you forward and have good arch support. The tongue is thin and comes up quite high which will provide good coverage when on the trail, but I do wonder how durable the shoe’s material will be as i The tongue is thin and comes up quite t’s constructed more out of runner materials not hiking shoes materials. I’m usually a size 9 or 9.5 in shoes and I settled on a size 9 with a thicker sock because it fit better in the heel and just in case they stretch.
