I don’t run anymore but I bought these for everyday use and I do a lot of walking. I wanted something that didn't look quite like a traditional running shoe but still looked sporty - they fit that niche. They are very comfortable. I am a size 11, B width and they fit perfectly.

Love these trail shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box. I've taken these shoes on several hikes and they've done great on dry, gravelly trails as well as muddy trails. The trail shoe gives the advantage of the extra traction while still looking great and being able to wear them off the trail after. I liked this shoe so much, I bought a second pair in another color!

I bought the on clouds after my daughter who is a RN raved about the comfort. I ended up with the treks because we were going hiking in Yosemite and I wanted something for the trails. We hiked over 10 miles one day and my feet and legs felt great. They are amazingly comfortable and durable. Best shoes I’ve had in a long time!
I love these shoes. They are super comfy and great for long walks. I wore them all over Portugal and the cobblestone streets of Lisbon, they were great. I went up half a size because I have wide feet, but I think they would probably be a normal fit on someone without hobbit feet. My only complaint is the tread on the bottom allows for a lot of little pebbles to get stuck. Not a huge issue just kind of annoying.
Really like the design and colour of the shoe (coral), but after my first 7km I developed bad blisters on the inside arch of my feet. Even after waiting a week for the blisters to heal, the shoes continue to cause a discomfort in the same area. I think this may be because of the tough band on the outside of the shoe, which makes them more durable but is quite stiff. Others who have the shoe have told me they don't get blisters, so its likely foot specific.
I just got these shoes and find they fit true to size. I unintentionally found out they're durable, too. I took them for a hike and found myself scrambling up and down shale rock - sharp stuff! Not one hole or tear (thankfully!). My feet are not sore after using them. They're not as "cloud-like" as the other ON shoes as they made these more robust to handle gravel and rocky surfaces. But they're a great product. Highly recommend.
I returned the shoes. I already have a pair of On Clowflow and they are the most comfortable shoes I have had for a long time. I wanted to get another pair of On and the Cloudventure matched my needs. However, the fit is quite different, the Cloudventure don’t have as much arch support. Like other On shoes: they are light and made of good quality materials. If the fit is right for you, these are awesome shoes.
Too bad they changed this shoe! The base is narrower so not as stable and easy to roll an ankle. Also the rise is now 10mm instead of the previous 6mm. Too bad. I used to love this shoe.
These are designed to be a trail runner. They are lightweight, have a lot of cushion, propel you forward and have good arch support. The tongue is thin and comes up quite high which will provide good coverage when on the trail, but I do wonder how durable the shoe’s material will be as i The tongue is thin and comes up quite t’s constructed more out of runner materials not hiking shoes materials. I’m usually a size 9 or 9.5 in shoes and I settled on a size 9 with a thicker sock because it fit better in the heel and just in case they stretch.
