I strongly recommend this product and look forward to some productive miles to come.

These super-buoyant runners are fantastic for long duration walks or runs. I have found myself not wanting to take them off. That said, there are a couple of things that you will want to know before buying them.1) They run about a half size small, so make sure to try them on and get a good feeling for them.2) Their heel incline is higher than most shoes and will work your mid-calves a little differently, so be prepared to “feel it”.3) They are a little “squishy” and provide a feeling of a little more horizontal movement than more stiff runners.In my case, the pros have caused me to wear the Cloudmonsters almost non-stop.

I have previously worn Hoka Bondi 4's and 7's for running/road work, and had gone to REI for a pair of 8's, all sold out, so I started trying on lots of running shoes and brands, going for what fit right and 'felt' the best for me. I tried on a pair of the ON Cloudmonsters and knew right away that they would work for my foot (wide forefoot, regular heel and semi-high arch). Beautifully light in weight, the uppers are awesome at wicking away moisture and heat, the soles are densely cushioned and stable without ever being mushy. - Large amount of cushion for the heel and the midsole- Kink in the midsole making the forward rolling characteristic very noticeable- Great for easy runs, recovery runs and walking long distances- Tough to pick up pace as shoe is less responsive- The upper of the shoe creases and folds while using it, taking away from its aesthetic- Also, the upper was less snug than I preferred.- I felt my foot had a decent amount of room to move around in the shoe, which I personally do not like- Due to the excess room in the shoe, walking downhill would make me feel unstable as my foot would slide around in the shoe- Was not too comfortable using these shoes while running on the treadmill. Had to run slower than my actual pace to ensure safety

They may not look as good as the Cloudmonsters, but for my intended use as a daily running shoe, the Hokas continue to perform reliably for me.
Female buyer recovering from patella fracture so I was looking for maximum cushioning. I bought the Hoka Speedgoats (in Mens size to accommodate residual swelling in my feet after longer periods standing) Absolutely love Speedgoats for cushion and traction. But I was looking for a lower profile (but still very cushioned) shoe for walking to and wearing at work so I tried the Cloudmonsters. These are super lightweight and definitely lower profile than Speedgoats or Bondis) Slightly less cushioned than the Speedgoats but I love these for everyday wear. Not much traction for trails but that’s what the Speedgoats are for. Highly recommend these!

The shoe performed up to the expectations. I had less hip fatigue, no issue adjusting to the extra stack height, and the energy return I wanted after mile 18 was present. Big game changer. I run in a 4mm drop road shoe normally and this plush bed did not require much adjustment. On seems to have reimagined the performance of Helion since this shoe did not feel rigid I felt like I was bounding w/o needing to change my stride. I ran downhills with ease and the outsole was nimble and felt secure. No rain or slickness so I cant speak to that condition yet. But because the outside temp.s were in the 60's it factored in to this too. When in gets humid and in the 80's that will be the real test of the upper. My heel was rock solid no fit issues in the width or instep. Definitely a shoe for runs in the 3 hour plus range for me. I will always rotate through different shoes (Newton BOCO AT, Newton Fate, Hoka Mafate, Atreyu) and now add this to the mix. I prefer feel over float but this On is on the top of my list because right out of the gate my reaction was "Wow, this is a comfortable shoe."
