I was really excited to try these shoes. I took a chance and ordered a pair online. They didn’t disappoint! I normally wear ASICS Novablast 2 running shoes and I found these shoes to be comparable and maybe a touch more comfortable. They are comfortable right to the end of each run. The furthest I’ve run in them is 20km and they felt great and my feet didn’t overheat. They are comfortably roomy in the toe. The only thing is it would be nice if the laces were a bit longer. I would definitely get these again.

My first pair on On shoes. Was skeptical at first. Recently purchased NB Freshfoam 1080v12. Ran my personal best in those, but ever since then have had occasional tendinitis on foot from NB. Then decided to give On CloudMonsters a try. They are amazing, lightweight, bouncy, beautiful stride and zero foot pain whatsoever. The carbon plate keeps my toes from over flexing on runs, whilst the hollow soles makes it a smooth ride. I love them so much, I have in lime green and navy colour. I previously ran in Brookes glycerin, and Hoka. None of those come even close to these. ON CloudMonsters are true to size. Highly recommend!!

I was so excited to get these OC Monsters, my first time trying the brand. Out of the box, they are gorgeous!! 5 stars! Deceivingly clunky looking, but lightweight and a nice snug fit. I went up half a size as I normally do with all my running shoes & they were still a little small. I had some room in the toe area, but not much. If you want the "thumb" fit, size up a full size. Walking in the Monster, I was expecting a bit more of a snappy, bouncy step experience, but keep in mind, I just finished a 7 mile run in my Saucony Endorphin Pro 2. This pair offered a wider, roomer toe area and excellent heel lock. Excellent for my shoe rotation. Here's the bummer...this shoe doesn't work for me because it is too high on the outside ankle area. I was attracted by the colors and platform look of the shoe but like most On shoes, the shape is really odd so I might return them. They’re very lightweight and comfortable but the sole is too narrow under the inner arch and I can sense this when I’m walking. It’s like my foot wants to pronate inward because the inner sole isn’t wide enough. This is something I’ve always thought was weird about On shoes but I thought this Cloudmonster style would be different. You can see a comparison in the 2nd photo with my Hoka shoes on the left.
This is my first time owning a pair of shoes from this brand. I’ve worn them for over a week now, and my feet pain has significantly decreased, especially on the heel. These shoes are super comfortable, weightless, and literally feel like you’re walking on clouds. I work in healthcare so finding a shoe that really meets my needs throughout the day is really important to me. The price is a little steep, but now that my feet aren’t experiencing as much pain, I’m finding that they were well worth it. I look forward to buying another pair in a different color. They’re also super good looking, I get compliments each and every day.
Holy smokes this is such a comfy shoe! It really reminds me of my first pair of Hokas but they don’t look as large and clown-like. I ordered them online and wasn’t sure what to expect but these are going to make getting back into running much easier. My only disappointment is that they seem to runs just slightly smaller than other ON shoes. I tried serval pair on in the store in my normal size 8. Each version fit true to size. They did not have this style in store and they definitely run a smidge smaller. I haven’t run in them yet so I’m not sure if I’ll need to exchange for a half size up or not but my big toe was right at the top of the shoe.
I am a new runner training for my first marathon in these shoes were recommended to me. I had requested a neutral shoe with a wide toe box because I was afraid of getting blisters or losing toenails although I've heard from many runners that this is not an inevitable outcome. I was recommended to get a .5 size up and I am happy with that as of now. I've only put about 50 km on them so far in my training but everything feels good. It's kind of like walking on a marshmallow. I have not experienced any foot or knee pain in my training so far; only muscular soreness in my legs. I will probably need to buy another pair again before my marathon so I will aim to get these a second time.
I usually don't write reviews, but these shoes deserve the praise! After reading other reviews, I decided to give them a try even though I honestly have not had great luck with on shoes. It was truly love at first walk! The shoes are super light and give a nice boost. I originally wore them strictly for work to break them in - I worked 16hr days on my feet and had no pain. Running in them is even better. So far I've only used them for short distance (3-4 mi), but love them so much I want both colors! Of note: I have high arches, so I added my own insoles. I wear a 7 in everyday shoes, and ordered an 8 in these.
I've decided to no longer purchase designer sneakers. They look cool/great but provide no real foot support especially when walking long distances. It was hard to find kicks that actually support bad knees or back and didn't have dated, lame ortho looking designs. These seem to fit the bill. Surprised at how much i felt the difference walking in these almost instantly. Yeah they are pretty much close to designer price but, for me now.....they are worth it. Hope they introduce more modern designs. Oh and if this helps the glacier/meadow is more of a mint green. NOT greyish like it looks online. I ordered my regular size. With my thicker no show sock it still feels normal so for me it's true to size.
